Most UFO sightings are witnessed by only one person, so it is difficult enough to convince others that this is not just a figment of someone's imagination. However, some meetings take place in front of several witnesses, and this completely changes the matter. Even if these events are not related to alien life, the fact that many witnessed these incidents at the same time means that "something" did happen. Perhaps more importantly, this suggests that such episodes are not purely imaginary.

10. Observations in the Hudson Valley - New York, early 1980s

In late June 1983, before the July 4 celebrations began, part of the evening sky over New York's Hudson Valley filled with fireworks. This was due to the celebration of Independence Day. Among the multi-colored mini-explosions, a quiet humming sound was suddenly heard, behind which a huge disc-shaped vessel "16 or 17 houses wide!"

When it hovered over the witnesses, the strange buzzing stopped, and the ship simply froze in the air in freezing silence. A few minutes after the appearance of the UFO, the drone resumed, and the disk sped away at great speed.

This was just one of many UFO sightings in the Hudson Valley in the early 1980s. And this is not the only case with multiple witnesses.

On March 24, 1983, there were so many reports of strange ship and strange lights being seen in the Yorktown sky that the city switch could barely bear the load. That evening on Takonsky Boulevard there was a traffic jam from suddenly stopped cars. Their mesmerized drivers stood next to their vehicles, looking at the alleged UFO flying overhead.

9. The Arthur Kill Incident - New Jersey Turnpike, 2001

On the evening of July 14 and the morning of July 15, 2001, at least 15 people witnessed strange golden-orange lights over the Arthur Kill River, New Jersey Turnpike. They were arranged in the shape of the letter V. However, it was not clear from many reports if the lights were separate objects or if they belonged to the same large V-shaped ship.

Others reported that the lights were more "diffuse" and simply disappeared into the night sky one by one. They contacted Newark airport to verify the information, but nothing unusual was found on the radars. According to the National Weather Service, no anomalies were observed that evening.

Witness Veronica Bagley managed to film the lights. Meanwhile, another witness, Patti Ercallino, stated that the entire incident was "very peaceful, calm and beautiful." She even believed that she had witnessed "some kind of miracle!"

8. The Cosford Incident - West England, 1993

According to UFO expert Nick Pope, more than 100 people reported seeing UFOs on the evening of March 30 and the morning of March 31, 1993 in the west of England. Moreover, many of the observers were active police and military personnel. Pope worked on this case personally, as at the time was in the service of the British Department of Defense.

Most of the witnesses described a triangular vessel moving across the night sky at incredible speed. One particular witness - a police officer - was with a group of scouts in the Quantok Hills in Somerset. They described the objects as "two Concordes flying side by side and joining together!"

There have been many reports of similar sightings in Cornwall, Devon and the West Midlands, as well as two RAF bases in Shropshire, RAF Shawbury and RAF Cosford. None of the bases were able to detect the mysterious ship on radar. At the time, Pope described this in his report as "a significant aspect of defense" that should be further explored.

7. Observation at Ellsworth Air Force Base - South Dakota, 1953

A large number of military personnel saw a UFO on the evening of August 5, 1953, near Ellsworth Air Force Base. Also, 45 concerned residents of neighboring cities witnessed the strange events.

The first sighting was reported just after 8pm in Blackhawk. Mrs. Kellian, a Ground Observer Corps volunteer, saw a strange red light in the clear night sky.

As she had been taught, she immediately reported her observation. In the end, she was connected to the duty radar operator at Ellsworth AFB.

The object was seen on the radar - it was clearly heading for the base. An F-84 fighter patrolling the area headed towards the ship. When the F-84 was 5 kilometers from the disk-like spacecraft, the UFO quickly moved away.

Although the F-84 tried to chase him, it was unable to surpass the UFO in speed and returned to Ellsworth. The second F-84 went to the area. The pilot confirmed that he can see the object. Also unable to catch up with the UFOs, the F-84 encountered strange malfunctions.

6. Exeter - New Hampshire, 1965

In the early morning of September 3, 1965, Norman Muscarello was hitchhiking home to Exeter, New Hampshire. Patiently making his way down the track and waiting for the next potential driver, Muscarello noticed a strange light in the dark morning sky. After a few seconds, the light went straight towards him.

Fearing that he would be run over by a strange object, Muscarello threw himself to the ground on the side of the road. However, at the last moment, the UFO changed direction. Muscarello got up and ran as fast as he could.

About an hour before the incident, not far from the place, police officer Eugene Bertrand came across a parked car on the side of the road. Inside was a woman who, frightened, told Bertrand that she was being chased by a "flying object."

However, Bertrand assured her that there was no cause for concern. Sincerely believing that the lady was mistaken, he continued on his way.

It was about 3:00 am when Muscarello headed to Exeter Police Station. Bertrand returned shortly thereafter and listened to his story. He then took the young man back to the track to investigate.

Parked on the same stretch of road, the two men soon noticed a strange object. As before, he approached them. Alarmed, Muscarello and Bertrand quickly returned to the police car. Calls soon began to come in about new observations.

5. Greifswald Lights - Germany, 1990

Strange spherical lights have regularly appeared on the Baltic coast since early August 1990. By 24 August, the lights appeared to have moved inland and were witnessed by the residents of Greifswald, a coastal town in eastern Germany.

At first, unusual lights hovered in the air almost motionless for about 30 minutes. Many witnesses managed to take photographs of the phenomenon and even film it. This incident is considered one of the most documented UFO sightings.

The object appeared to be composed of two separate sets of lights. The first formed a circle and remained largely motionless. When the lights moved, they did it in sync. The second appeared to be shaped like a Y. More importantly, the lights in this case moved independently of each other.

Neither the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) nor official scientists have been able to provide a convincing or satisfactory explanation.

4. Fort Beaufort - South Africa, 1972

Benny Smith no doubt believed that on June 26, 1972, he and his workers witnessed the appearance of a strange object over his farm. However, he firmly believed that they saw a top-secret warship and not guests from another world.

Smith's farm is located 16 kilometers from Fort Beaufort, a city in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. On that June morning, Smith discovered that his workers were hiding in a barn on a farm. They claimed that something strange hovered over the trees in one of the fields.

Smith went to check and did see a strange object. The farmer quickly shot him with his rifle. He claimed the shot was accurate and hit the target. The bullets, however, had no effect.

Smith contacted the local police, who arrived just in time to see the ship land on the ground. The UFO appeared to be shaped like a steel barrel, with three distinct "legs" underneath.

One of the police officers, Sergeant Kitching, also fired his own weapon at the ship. This time, the UFO reacted to the shot. The strange object began to change color from black to green. It then turned yellow before turning pale white.

Witnesses heard a “buzzing” sound, and then the ship took off from the field and disappeared.

3. Houston Sightings Go Viral Video - Houston, TX, 2014

On August 11, 2014, hundreds of people in Houston saw a circle of lights in the evening sky. The photos spread like wildfire across social media accounts. However, when a video of this phenomenon appeared on the Internet, it became obvious that the lights move independently of each other and are not a fixed circle.

Carolyn Sumners of the Houston Museum of Natural History warned that no one should assume that the strange object is of alien origin. With a UFO sighting, she said, we need to first figure out what else it might be besides aliens. However, no official explanation or theory has been presented since then.

The witnesses of this event have their own opinion on this matter. Unsurprisingly, many believe the lights were indeed extraterrestrial in origin. Others, however, think they saw a government drone or even the reflection of light from a nearby football stadium.

2. Mass UFO sighting during a baseball game - Vancouver, Canada, 2013

During a minor league baseball game between the Vancouver Canadians and the Everett Aqua Sox in 2013, hundreds of people were distracted from the game when a strange object appeared over the field.

The UFO looked like a triangle with lights around the edges. Even the players seemed to notice the aerial anomaly. One of them spoke on social networks about the "alien spaceship" that was spotted during the match.

Soon, many photos and videos appeared on the Internet, but no official explanation was provided at first. A local newspaper, however, suggested that the UFO could be and most likely was a remote-controlled helicopter.

But the truth about this "UFO" was revealed just a couple of weeks later. All this was a marketing ploy to promote a new planetarium at the Macmillan Space Center in Vancouver.

This may be why there were more UFO sightings in Vancouver in 2013 than in any other Canadian city.

1. UFO incident in Trindade, 1958

In October 1957, the Brazilian navy established a research base on the island of Trindad. By January 1958, they had witnessed some of the strangest UFO sightings in the 20th century.

After the base was established, personnel began reporting strange silvery objects that seemed to be watching their actions. On the morning of the new 1958, the entire garrison witnessed a strange light flying overhead. The next evening, the luminous object circled one of the warships for 10 minutes. It made sudden and precise turns, like the ship itself.

On January 6, Commander Carlos A. Bachellar launched a weather balloon. However, he realized that the signals he should have emitted had suddenly stopped. When he looked up at the sky, he saw the probe "sucked" into the cloud and disappear.

A few minutes later he appeared again, only without tools. Some time later, a silver object floated out of the same cloud and calmly departed.

On January 16, the entire crew of a warship off the coast of the island witnessed the appearance of a strange bright object. He made his way to the island. One observer managed to take several photographs of the aircraft. After that, the film was immediately sent to print.
