In many esoteric books, for example, in the bestsellers of Carlos Castaneda, in the works of Vladimir Megre about the amazing experience of the Siberian hermit Anastasia, and so on, they talk about out-of-body travel, which, as the researcher of the culture of small peoples of Siberia, Vladimir Serkin, proves, the Evens (Evens and Evenks), for example, they still use it.
In his book "Stars of the Shaman", the scientist and writer describes his experience of communicating with a Siberian sorcerer, who told him about such out-of-body travels, which are common for these small peoples. Our technocratic world has invented a lot of all kinds of "crutches" in the form of planes, missiles, cars, mobile communications and much more, while a person was originally given by God, the shaman said, to travel throughout the Universe, separating from his mortal body, not to mention about wandering around the Earth. A person can also fly, move bodily, communicate telepathically, and much more that the Western "invalid" has lost. Lost it a long time ago, probably many millennia ago.
However, Vladimir Serkin asks, why did this happen? Who needed to let humanity go along a technocratic, narrower and more primitive path of development, depriving it of spiritual practices? Why did man abandon a more harmonious life with nature, practically declaring war on it, which is still going on, however, only man himself is at war with nature, and Mother Nature patiently observes the unreasonableness of this "child", only sometimes seriously punishing the too spoiled one " baby ".
The most amazing thing is that there are many small peoples on our planet (not only in Siberia) who continue to live in complete harmony with nature, possessing ancient knowledge that seems to the civilized world to be fantastic and even mystical, for example, the same possibility of out-of-body travel throughout the Universe … But at the same time, Western man thinks himself the master of the Earth and even Nature, looking at these "wild tribes" with some contempt. Indeed, as the Bible says, if God wants to punish, he will take away a person's mind …
So who are we, the researcher asks? Zombified biorobots with a whole set of technocratic "crutches", exorbitant pride and belligerent aggressiveness, over which one could simply laugh if it were not so sad …
