An experienced hunter from the US state of North Dakota claims to have chased the legendary and elusive Bigfoot for over 10 kilometers (see video below).

After Christopher Bauer's girlfriend noticed a large hairy creature in the kitchen window on Christmas Day, the hunter went outside and found huge footprints in the snow.

“She said she saw a huge, hairy and ugly monster. I would also describe him that way if I saw Sasquatch looking out my window,”Bauer said.

According to Bauer, the footprint trail stretched for an incredible 10 kilometers and eventually crossed the highway and disappeared. Apparently, the huge creature went into the mountains.

Based on his knowledge of local animals, the hunter is convinced that only a Bigfoot could have left footprints of more than 45 cm in length and 20 cm in width.

Christopher Bauer also reported that the distance between the feet was about one and a half meters, but they were easy to follow as the footprints were well imprinted in the snow.

The hunter said that the creature stopped twice to catch something edible in the snow, such as a marmot or a vole.

Fortunately, while chasing the cryptid, Bauer took some photos, which he sent to Professor Jeff Meldrum, a Bigfoot expert at the University of Idaho, who replied that the prints looked promising.

Skeptics no doubt argue that Bauer was wrong or the victim of a clever hoax. However, it is unlikely that such an experienced hunter could be mistaken in identifying such unique tracks. In addition, not everyone dares to travel more than 10 km in the snow to fake the tracks of Sasquatch.
