I try to closely follow any publications about the Sverdlovsk region, concerning both its history and various legends … Since my interest is of a constant nature, the emergence of publications from 2011 (2013) from the depths of the Internet was a surprise, as well as some facts that are cited …

What is the author talking about?

Dyatlov Pass, places of unexplained deaths …

Perhaps the most famous unusual place in the Sverdlovsk region is the height of 1079 in the very north of the region, which the Mansi call "Kholat Syakhyl" - the mountain of the dead. On the slope of this mountain, which is far from housing, in 1959, a group of nine experienced tourists led by Igor Dyatlov died under mysterious circumstances. In his honor, this notorious place was named the Dyatlov Pass. The search team and investigators have repeatedly seen UFOs in the sky here. According to the results of the investigation, the investigators concluded that "the cause of the death of the tourists was a spontaneous force, which the tourists were unable to overcome." What is this mysterious force that left no witnesses? Alas, this still remains a mystery.

Myrrh-streaming icons and buried church crosses … Miracles of Faith …

According to the reports of the Ural "ITAR-TASS" in the village of Beloyarskoye in the church in the name of the Assumption of the Mother of God, the icon of the Resurrection of Christ was pacified. First, the clergy smelled the smell of field grasses emanating from the icon, then a fragrant oily liquid began to stand out in the first part of the image.

Another miracle associated with religion takes place in the village of Malye Brusyany near Yekaterinburg. More than 60 years ago, the communists began to destroy the local church. They piled the cross from the church to the ground. A local priest dragged the cross into the church and hid it in the basement. In the place where the cross lay, the grass wilted, and the new one still has not grown. Near the church today you can see a place completely untouched by vegetation, shaped like a cross.

Snowman…

And places south of Irbit are famous for the frequent sightings of Bigfoot. Moreover, his appearances were not always harmless. In some cases, the "furry monster" attacked domestic animals. After analyzing the testimony of eyewitnesses, we can come to the conclusion that the favorite habitat of Bigfoot is located in the polygon between the villages of Zaykovo, Bolshaya and Malaya Kochevki, Sosnovka, P'yankovo and Krutikhinskoye.

Aliens and UFOs

There are various sinister legends about the village of Rastess (about 25 km west of Kytlym). This place was allegedly chosen by "aliens" for a long time; every now and then here in the sky they see mysterious glow. There are many stories about evil spirits and evil spirits. Tourists and hunters bypass these places. There is not a soul in the village these days. All its inhabitants seemed to have disappeared somewhere, leaving all things in their houses.

Residents of Turinsk, according to press reports, have seen a small green object, the size of an electric lamp, almost every night for more than two years. The trajectory of the UFO is always unchanged: it appears in the sky over the Turin match factory, after which it begins to slowly move towards the pulp and paper mill along the Tura River, turns to the railway bridge and moves away to the city of Tavda. All eyewitnesses to the event, when an unidentified object appears in the sky, begin to experience a feeling of nervousness and anxiety.

There are places in our area that, for some reason unknown to us, are clearly chosen by UFOs. For example, quite often unidentified flying objects fly into the village of Shalya, located only some 50 kilometers from the famous village of Molebka. The most famous is the story that took place in the Chalet on June 25, 1999. On this day, three local youths, who were resting on a hillock near the village, were lucky not only to observe the "flying saucer", but even to capture it on a video camera.

There is information that UFOs also made frequent visits to the village of Filatovskoye in the Sukholozhsky region. But here they, as a rule, keep at a respectful distance, manifesting themselves more often in the form of bright stars flying not along satellite trajectories, but "as they come up." These luminaries can stop abruptly, abruptly change the direction of flight, write out intricate figures in the starry sky, divide into several parts, and so on.

Five years ago, in 1998, ufologists from all over the world turned their attention to the Sverdlovsk Region. Then the viewers of many countries of the world were shocked by the showing of what was said to be a top-secret film from the KGB archives, bought in Moscow on the black market. On it, according to the voice-over, the results of the catastrophe of the "alien ship" near the city of Berezovsky, Sverdlovsk region, were recorded. The film even included footage showing the autopsy of a humanoid found at the crash site. However, Russian ufologists were not at a loss and conducted a full-fledged investigation, convincingly proving that the film was a skillful forgery of American television people.

Still, it is possible that real UFO catastrophes happened in the Urals. Back in 1927, a unique event was observed near the city of Karpinsk - the explosion of a cigar-shaped object. Information about this is contained in the archives of the Commission on Meteorites of the USSR Academy of Sciences. And in 1979, residents of the Asbestovsky village of the Alapaevsky district witnessed how a disc-shaped UFO crashed into the forest east of the village. One of the eyewitnesses wrote about this mysterious incident in a letter to the head of the Yaroslavl UFO group, Yu. A. Smirnov.

A year later, on April 15, 1980, military fighters were alerted to intercept an unidentified object that suddenly appeared. When the pursued apparatus went head-on to the fighter, the pilot opened fire to kill. The disk was knocked down and fell into a deep taiga about 20 kilometers south of Verkhoturye. Ufologists dubbed this case the largest UFO disaster in the Soviet Union. The crashed "saucer" was indeed huge: about 26 meters in diameter and 5 meters in height. Local residents saw the disc fall and work at the crash site of the military, which was later reported to ufologists.

Dolmens and rock paintings …

But let's go back to the previously mentioned Chalet. In addition to frequently appearing UFOs, it is notable for the mysterious dolmens located nearby in the forest, about which few are known. Let me remind you that a dolmen (translated from Breton - "stone table") is an ancient megalithic structure in the form of a large stone box covered with a flat slab. Scientists do not really know the purpose of dolmens, only many versions are expressed (from places for donations and burials to the way of influencing the peculiar acupuncture points of the Earth). The Ural dolmens are of particular interest, since it is commonly believed that they do not exist in our region. Nevertheless, in addition to the Shali dolmens, there is evidence of similar megalithic structures near Pervouralsk. And there are already more than twenty such artificial structures in the vicinity of Verkhnyaya Pyshma and Sredneuralsk. Who created them and for what purpose is still a mystery.

On the rocks along the banks of the rivers Tagil, Neiva, Rezh, you can see the so-called scribbles - drawings applied to stones by ocher by our distant ancestors. They were made, according to archaeologists, 4-5 thousand years ago. The meaning of some of the images is not entirely clear. They aroused considerable interest among the candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences Vladimir Avinsky. In his opinion, some of the Ural writings are nothing more than diagrams of the structure of … complex chemical elements. Indeed, many of the drawings remind us all of the well-known formulas used in organic chemistry since school. V. I. Avinsky put forward a bold hypothesis that chemical formulas could be conveyed to ancient people by our brothers in mind.

Of interest is a place not far from Mount Shunut-Kamen (south of Revda). Every year hundreds of pilgrims are drawn to the spring gushing here between the stones. It received the name of the holy spring of Platonida - after the hermit who lived here a long time ago, who spent all her free time in prayers and ate exclusively the gifts of the forest. The Platonids endow the spring with healing properties. If you plunge into the icy water of a miraculous source, you can get rid of many diseases.

Bad places and evil spirits …

But many places in the Sverdlovsk region, on the contrary, are known among the people as bad. The village of Gerasimovka, Tavdinsky District, which at one time was glorified throughout the Soviet Union by pioneer Pavlik Morozov (Bloody thriller, or a few lines about Pavlik Morozov.), Has long been considered a "rotten" place, a concentration of dark forces. Relatively many sorcerers and just people with unusual abilities live in it. The village of Myagkovo in the neighboring Taborinsky district has no better fame. In the old days, they even avoided it, tried to bypass it. Even in our time, here in some houses evil spirits are in charge.

In the north of the region there is another amazing place - the so-called Golden (Tsar's) Gate. This unique arched formation is located on the top of a cliff near the bank of the Vizhai River. Externally, the Gate will be tracked down as two through arches with a hole diameter of just over 4 meters and two through caves about 1 meter wide. According to local legends, it is strictly forbidden to pass through the Gate, any disobedient will be punished immediately. Many of those who passed through the Gate are said to have died. In September 1999, members of the 70th expedition "Cosmopoisk" passed through the Golden Gate, after which a real flood immediately began on the Vizhay River. It was possible to get out of this place only after a few days with great difficulty.

There is a very interesting place under the village of Druzhinino. On one of the old clearings, the strong curvature of tree trunks, unusually high thickets of grass and shrubs are immediately evident. The state of health on this relatively small patch of land is noticeably worsening - there is a heaviness in the head, the heart is pounding like mad, the pressure rises. Birds do not fly here, animals do not enter. People have an overwhelming feeling of fear, they want to get out of here as soon as possible, as if someone invisible survives you.

It is interesting not just the given enumeration and collection of legends and legends, which we have already encountered (Eleven anomalous zones of the Sverdlovsk region …), but how modern local historians assess this list. Isn't it worth starting to supplement it?

I think that the above classification of anomalous and mysterious places can be taken as a basis …
