On a frosty morning on January 13, residents of Yekaterinburg witnessed an unusual natural phenomenon - the halo effect. It seems to an observer on earth that three suns rose at once in the sky. The halo looks like a ring of light around bright objects of light.
This effect can be seen in the morning in several districts of the city.

And yesterday three suns, judging by the photographs of a local resident, rose over Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
We will remind, earlier forecasters explained that the halo appears in dry frosty weather, when small ice crystals form in the air that cannot be seen with the naked eye. The rays of the sun are refracted through them, and such an optical halo effect is created. There are several such phenomena during the winter.
