In the Kemerovo region in the Tashtagol region, a few tens of kilometers from the village of Ust-Kabyrza, there is a beautiful and unique natural monument - the Azass cave. The name of the cave is explained by the name of the Azas stream flowing from it. The total length of the cave is seven kilometers. And recently, large footprints were found near the cave. Local residents are sure that these are traces of the yeti living here.
For a long time, the Azasskaya Cave was an ordinary cave, which was not visited by either tourists or scientists. In addition, it is located far from the nearest settlement, there are practically no roads to the cave, it is difficult to get there. But as soon as local hunters reported that they allegedly saw traces of the yeti near the cave, travelers from different countries poured here en masse.
After that, other local residents began to tell similar stories about the area near the Azasskaya cave. They reported seeing a large, shaggy creature that was three meters tall. They also note some anomalous features of the area. Such as the complete absence of insects. And this despite the fact that everywhere around there are various midges - in abundance. The locals explain this feature by a strong unpleasant odor that comes from the yeti.
Scientists from different parts of the world became interested in these stories. Over the course of several years, they have conducted several scientific expeditions. The first of them took place in March 2009. As a result, Azasskaya Cave was declared fit for the Yeti to inhabit it. Almost six months later, the next expedition took place, during which not only traces of a large Bigfoot were found, but even paths along which he could easily walk.
And a year later, another research expedition was organized. The result of this expedition was a place found by scientists, which was declared a probable temporary home or a place to spend the night for the Yeti. This place consisted of more than ten trees tilted towards each other in such a way that they formed a dome. Branches are thrown on top of this dome, possibly with such a purpose that water could not enter the interior of the dwelling.

And in 2011, an international scientific conference was held, in which representatives of not only Russia, but also the USA, Canada, Mongolia, Sweden, Estonia and China took part. The conference was attended by speakers who, during an expedition to the Azasskaya cave, discovered a long white hair. After the conference, the probable Bigfoot hair was sent to several laboratories at once: two Russian and one American.
Nowadays, excursions are regularly conducted to the Azasskaya cave. True, it is better to visit it in the summer. In winter, due to the lack of roads, it is difficult to get to the cave even by snowmobiles. And in summer, you can only drive along the local paths on ATVs, trucks or ATVs. It is also worth remembering that in the cave itself in the cold season, an ice cap can fall right on your head. In order to avoid slipping on slippery stones, it is worth thinking about comfortable shoes.
Also, in order to visit the Azasskaya cave, which is located on the territory of the national reserve, you must obtain a special permit.
