The woman picked up the creature and carried it ashore, where she photographed it. The fish was about 80 cm long, but the girth of its strongly swollen head was at least 20 cm.
Julia later posted pictures of the fish on social media and asked people to identify her. However, even experienced fishermen could not name the type of fish. According to them, they have never seen anything like this in these waters, and if it is an eel, then it is strongly mutated.
