There are many treasures left from the Indians who inhabited both Americas even before Columbus. But, unfortunately, the conquistadors and the Church so zealously walked through traditional beliefs that by the time various artifacts began to fall into the hands of scientists, neither they nor the Indians themselves already knew their purpose. Sometimes it is not even clear what they represent. It is even worse when it is clear what they are portraying, but it is simply impossible to believe in it.

An example of the latter would be the Golden “birds” kept in the Bogotá Museum. They once belonged to the Tayrona Indians. In any case, they were found in their graves. In this regard (and also because they could not think of any other application for them) "birds" were recorded in the objects of worship. True, one cannot understand what kind of cult.

The Tayrona Indians had their own civilization. They were lucky - they were not destroyed, since they reached their peak of development half a thousand years before the visit of the Spaniards. The development was quite high - weaving, jewelry, gold jewelry … But no more. No contact with aliens, and all that has become fashionable to attribute to Atlantis, which even in Plato's fantasies is described as a Bronze Age civilization.

But these "birds" somehow spoil this completely logical picture. They spoil it because they most of all look like jet planes. And if you look at it in profile, the similarity will increase even more. But since the Tayrone Indians could not have such means, most scientists decided to define this as an attribute of some kind of bird cult.

The problem was that these planes do not look like any local bird at all. Moreover, there are no traces of bird cults or other cults that would be associated with them.

Even for Europeans, triangular wings are a relative innovation, since they began to be used only in the 50s of the last century. Moreover, this applies almost exclusively to jet and mostly military air vehicles.

There is also the tail unit and, what is even more surprising, the elevons, which change the flight altitude of the aircraft and more. The tail unit further enhances the resemblance to an aircraft, since there is nothing like this in nature.

The lack of similarity with birds led scientists to believe that they simply put forward the wrong version. Then they began to look for similarities with other animals. As a result, we came to the conclusion that there are no similarities, and the "birds" are much more like a miniature image of mechanical objects. Anyone would mistake them for an airplane if they were found in modern Europe.

There are, however, differences from a jet plane. For example, the wings should be pushed a little further towards the nose. However, even so, models made in the image and likeness of these gold items proved to be quite suitable for flying. Not a masterpiece, but flying tolerably well.

This is how scientists fight, trying to understand what it is. If a symbolic image of a bird - which one? If another animal - which one? If this is some kind of winged deity, then where are the traces of his cult? And, again, winged deities are more often attributed to the features of real birds, and not aeronautics from the future.

Maybe the servants of ancient cults just saw in their visions a fragment of modern life and deified the iron birds? After all, examples of such clairvoyance, at least occasionally, do happen. So why not? In any case, I find it much easier to believe than in the aviation industry of the ancient Tyrone.
