We have all heard about incredible medical phenomena that have no explanation. One such miracle happened in 1980, when a girl named Jean Hilliard miraculously returned from the afterlife. Doctors don't know how this is possible, but this story is absolutely real.
It happened on December 20, 1980 in Lengby, Minnesota.
Nineteen-year-old Jean Hilliard was driving along an icy highway from her friend. Suddenly her car lost control and she drove into a ditch. Fortunately, the girl was not hurt.
After recovering a little, Jean decided to leave the car, as she was afraid of freezing to death. She got out of the car and walked along the road towards the house of an acquaintance who lived nearby.
It was late evening and the frost dropped to -30. Plus, Jean was going against the wind and was terribly cold. And the friend's house was not at all as close as she had imagined …
After walking more than two kilometers, Jean collapsed right in front of her friend's house.
According to her recollections, at about one in the morning she saw the necessary entrance and suddenly collapsed from the fatigue that had fallen on her. There were only a couple of meters left to the salutary warmth, but she could not find the strength to rise.

In such an unconscious state, the girl lay for about 6 hours, until her friend Wally accidentally went out into the street.
When he found Jean, she was already covered with a thin layer of ice. Deciding that she was dead, the guy called an ambulance and the police.
Amazing resurrection
At about 8 a.m. Jean Hilliard was admitted to Fossston Municipal Hospital.
Despite severe hypothermia, the girl's heart was beating at a rate of 8 beats per minute.
But the doctors could not help her in any way - her skin was so hard that it was impossible to give an injection or put an IV. None of her joints moved, and her pupils did not respond to light.
The medical staff was sure it was over. But nevertheless, they did the only thing in their power - they surrounded the girl with warm heating pads from all sides in order to raise her body temperature at least a little.
The girl's mother sat next to her, held her hand and read a prayer.
And a miracle happened! At about 1 p.m. Jin began to moan weakly and beg for water.
By nightfall, she slightly wiggled her fingers, and after three days she could move her legs.
The doctors, confident that amputation and other serious consequences were inevitable, were shocked by what was happening.
Jean spent 6 days in the intensive care unit, after which she was transferred to a regular ward.
After 49 days, she left the hospital completely healthy. Severe hypothermia did not affect the work of her body and brain.
And the doctors still cannot explain how the girl, who had been lying in the cold for 6 hours and covered with a crust of ice, was able to return to life.
