On January 23, 2020, all the world's media grabbing footage from each other from Spain, where the Catalan coast was flooded with foam up to the neck:

European academic science, not bothering too much with the search for the truth, told the local public that the storm that nearly washed away Majorca the day before was to blame:

Promotional video:

The storm is, of course, notable, but let's look at the contour map:

The Balearic Islands, the archipelago of which Majorca is part of, are marked in red. Doesn't it seem strange to anyone that such a big storm came not from the Atlantic, where it belongs, but from the inner sea, where the wind has nowhere to roam? This can only be explained by some abnormal pressure drop - only then the wind will have where and from where to blow.

And now we return to the foam again. India, December 2, 2019:

Since there were no storms nearby, but there were some chemical plants, the local residents were told that it was a blowout from one of them. And everyone was satisfied with the explanation.

Mexico, 30 November 2019:

There was no particular storm, chemical plants too, so they explained to the local residents: a lot of fish died in the coastal waters, they decomposed and turned into foam. And again everyone was satisfied with the explanation of this miracle.

Meanwhile, miracles began only 5-6 years ago, and each time the “academicians” have different explanations. For example, when the coast of Australia flooded with foam in 2013, people were told that Oswald was again to blame, but not Lee Harvey, but a cyclone with this name:

And although the explanation about Oswald was again purely academic, nevertheless, there was still a grain of truth in it. What is a cyclone? The cyclone is, first of all, the pressure difference, and the pressure is what determines the boiling point of the liquid. The lower the pressure, the lower the boiling point.

If foam appears in the ocean, this does not mean, of course, that the ocean is boiling, but this foam and local pressure are definitely interconnected, since air and water vapor are inside the foam bubbles. If you make the pressure over the ocean less, more foam will form there, and if the pressure in the liquid (in the container) is made extremely high, then even the washing powder will not foam there.

Thus, atmospheric pressure is most likely responsible for the influx of foam on the banks. At first glance, you can say: So what !? But, if you look at the situation more closely, you can see the BBC message, for example, dated January 19, 2020. It turns out that on this day a record of atmospheric pressure was recorded over Britain, which was held for 300 years.

When atmospheric pressure begins to break records, it is no longer “So what ?!”. These are, for starters, either breathing problems, like in Peru, or blood pressure problems when the barometric pressure gets too high.

If pressure surges are local, there is no problem: today the pressure is large, tomorrow it is small, the day after tomorrow it is normal. But if the pressure in one place, then in another breaks records, then you can already think about a global process. For example, that the Earth is losing air. Or vice versa - there is more gas in the atmosphere.

Does anyone do such assessments? Who keeps track of the “reference” atmospheric pressure? Or is the reference pressure normal, just that the Earth has become so warm that it's time to draw a new scale for household barometers?

If such miracles with breaking records of atmospheric pressure continue, then it will end up very interesting. So, if the average pressure on Earth begins to grow, then the Earth will gradually begin to turn into a planet of giants: trees will become larger, people and grass are taller. At one time, the grass, apparently, reached heights of tens of meters, and the trees were kilometer long.

But, if the pressure drops, everything living on the contrary will decrease proportionally and people will turn into gnomes crawling on the ruins of a civilization built by the “giants”. Actually, it is very possible that modern people are just such gnomes.
