According to the theory of the hollow moon, the most interesting part of our satellite may be inside, and this mystery is even more curious than the other side of the planet. All our lives, we have seen this glowing ball in the night sky, but is there any evidence that our moon could be empty?

Over the centuries, there have been some bizarre and maybe absurd theories about life on the moon. Given the current level of science and technology, many hypotheses are a thing of the past, but some of the great ideas continue to bother us.
It is believed that the Moon originated from an ancient collision of the Earth with another planet, when our solar system was just forming. It is a large satellite, at least compared to Earth.
Eleven people came to the lunar surface as part of the American program, and since then no one has set foot on the satellite. Scientists think they have a good idea of what the moon is, but what if they are wrong?
There are those who believe that the moon is a hollow sphere, and what happens inside it is much more interesting than what happens on the surface. Others say the Moon is artificial and could even be some kind of starship parked in Earth's orbit by an alien race thousands of years ago.
Could our best explorers and astronomers be wrong about the moon all these years, and the people who landed there haven't mastered the whole truth about this planet? Or worse, is there a dark conspiracy here, and maybe the world's governments are hiding secrets around our moon?
To shed light of truth on the hollow moon version, we only need to look at the Earth. Indeed, the geological consensus is that the Earth and the Moon have the same design, and each of the objects has a solid inner core surrounded by a liquid outer core and then a mantle. The moon even has a history of volcanic activity, but these obvious facts do not shake the enthusiasm of the proponents of an interesting theory.

The Hollow Earth Theory says that our planet has an empty core and there are holes at each pole. If we believe this, then we can enter one of the discoveries and penetrate into the underworld of the Earth. The "inner sun" keeps the place warm, and the modern humanoid civilization thrives right under our feet.
So where is the proof? Well, Admiral Richard E. Bird, the famous explorer, allegedly traveled to the North Pole, discovering the inner Earth back in 1947.
There he met a race of sentient beings living in glittering cities who told him to return to the surface and warn the human race to "behave more modestly" or else they could ruin everything. The admiral allegedly wrote it all down in his famous diary.
Of course, according to official figures, the admiral was on the other side of the planet at that time. Hollow Earth advocates, however, know this is just part of a conspiracy to hide the truth from the public.
If our governments do not allow the spread of the "truth" about the Earth's underworld, they are certainly not going to tell the truth about the moon. However, where did the "Hollow Moon" theory come from?
HOLLOW MOON THEORY
Without a doubt, the idea of a hollow moon has existed for centuries and has been a key element in a number of fictional works. But one of the strong pieces of evidence that is often cited is the experiments performed by the Apollo missions in the late 1960s.
After placing the seismic sensors on the Moon, the spent stage of the lunar module ascent was directed to the satellite surface. The planned crash caused mind-blowing reverberations such as the ringing of a bell.
Each time the experiment was repeated on subsequent missions using the spent rocket part, the moon would "ring" for several hours.
This is a completely different reaction than the Earth shows to such an impact. For many, this means that the moon must have a hollow interior. That's right, what else will cause the reverb? Of course, scientists don't quite agree with this. In fact, the story of the "bell" is sometimes referred to as a misnomer rather than a more literal description of the moon's reaction to impact. However, this is an interesting piece of the puzzle.
NASA recognizes the bizarre nature of earthquakes and that small earthquakes tend to last much longer than similar earthquakes on Earth. The point of the explanation is that there is still much to be learned about the moon.
WHAT IS INSIDE THE MOON?
So, what could be inside the Moon if the planet is truly hollow? Of course, a hollow moon could well be represented by a geological feature that means almost nothing. But this is so boring! It is much more interesting to speculate about what might be happening on the Moon, especially mixing the alien phenomenon into the story.
We know that with modern technology it will take about a thousand years to reach the nearest star system. If we pick up progress a little more, then in the next century or so we can reduce it to a few hundred years. But even traveling at the speed of light, it would be a four-year trip to the nearest star system.
We always assume that alien civilizations capable of visiting Earth have found a way to overcome the distance barrier, either using theoretical "wormholes" or certain technological advances that we can hardly imagine.
But what if they didn't? What if it takes aliens hundreds or even thousands of years to get here from wherever they come?
If they visit Earth, they may have come here on ships of several generations. These will likely be large starships the size of cities or even continents, where aliens will live their lives. Perhaps the aliens visiting us today are the descendants of those who left their homeworld long ago.
Perhaps using such a ship, an alien civilization established colonies in various star systems to observe primitive life as it developed (like us). In this case, there is no better place for an observer (not necessarily secret) than an orbital base, such as the Moon near the Earth.
So, the hollow moon seems like the perfect place for an alien base. It is close to the star for energy and close to the object of observation.
For most of our history, we have not been able to get to the moon, and even now we do not give it much trouble. In addition, one side of the moon is always facing away from the earth. Who knows what might happen there, hiding from our prying eyes?
This is an interesting idea, but some take a step forward and are curious: maybe the aliens themselves delivered the moon?
MOON - ALIEN SHIP
The theory of the moon as a spaceship is an amazing idea, put forward by a couple of Soviet scientists back in the 1970s. It says that the moon is actually the creation of an alien race. Space civilization is much more advanced than we have long ago parked in Earth orbit.
The most interesting part of this theory may be where it came from, but that is anyone's guess. But it makes sense when discussing a version of the hollow moon with a residential interior. This idea is supported by stories of "pre-lunar" people who remember the legends of how the Moon appeared after the Flood and the nights began to be illuminated.
Scientifically, the idea is supported by the way impact craters form on the Moon. Even the largest impact craters are fairly shallow, suggesting that there may be some kind of solid and impenetrable hull beneath the moonstone's surface.
It is also interesting to note that some lunar rocks have been found much older than rocks on Earth, although both objects were formed during the same period. Some scientists might say that this is because the Earth is still geologically active.
On Earth, new rocks are still being formed today, and old ones return to the mantle through subduction. On the moon, the geological phenomena have long died down. However, the supporters of the hollow moon do not get lost and call this one more proof that the moon was built elsewhere and brought here by an alien race.
THE MOON AND CONSPIRACY THEORY
When it comes to the moon, we have to ask ourselves one question: why hasn't anyone been there in the last nearly 50 years? We continue to study the moon and send probes into orbit, but no one has stepped on a satellite since 1972. Why? Were we warned to stay away from the moon as soon as we started messing around there?
When many of us were children, we listened with admiration to great projects: there will be colonies on the moon, or at least there will be scientific outposts and space stations!
Of course, there are problems to build / maintain a prepared station on the Moon. But it looks like the next logical step in space exploration. So why is the moon ignored and all the space agencies are targeting Mars? Is it really that boring to go to the moon, or is there something holding people back?
If there really is an alien civilization on the moon, we can only imagine their irritation when NASA astronauts began to run on the surface, and even wanted to detonate a nuclear weapon there (the failed flight of Apollo 13). Perhaps the people were given a warning, or more precisely, the world's leading governments were warned.
To avoid hysteria, they hid the truth from the entire population, but the message was clear: you saw everything it takes to see the moon. That's enough, now move on.
Is the Moon really the base for UFOs and flying saucers that have been observed for hundreds and thousands of years? Is this an empty sphere inhabited by beings from another star system? Is it a multi-generational spacecraft that traveled countless light years to arrive on Earthlings' doorstep thousands of years ago?
Probably no. Scientists today seem to be pretty smart people, and according to them, there is no evidence for a hollow moon version.
But the idea is intriguing, and there is always the possibility of a wrong conclusion by scientists. Like thousands of thousands of years, the Moon remains a mysterious ball of light in the night sky. There are undoubtedly many secrets that must be revealed if people decide to go to a satellite again.
