St. Petersburg keeps its secrets in every stone, statue, in magnificent palaces, and in the people who once lived and thought in this city. The shadows of the past centuries brought new secrets to the city. What names they did not give him - but, the city, initially, was itself.
Architecture of giants
The entire history of the ancient architecture of the city has long been adapted to our worldview, which is rigidly formatted and presented in a certain and understandable form.

For example, in the center and on the side of the entrance to St. Isaac's Cathedral, the usual steps are cut - they are intended for people of ordinary height. While on the sides of the regular steps - the steps are like pedestals - it is gigantic.

Looking at the photos of people standing at large doors, it is clear that the handles of the entrance doors are not at the usual level for a person. They are located at the level of the heads of standing people, and higher at a height of two meters from the bottom of the door.
What was the cathedral for the giants
Isaac's Cathedral, - its incomprehensible, monolithic columns, standing even at a height. In many descriptions and paintings, we are shown and told about peasants and workers with primitive tools of labor: a hammer and a chisel, digging for something there.

Versions of blocks and scaffoldings have been invented that are capable of lifting multi-ton columns to the upper floors of the cathedral. They give some numbers and values, which in their essence are meaningless. But, for some reason, they are modestly silent about the fact that in our time it is not possible to build such a thing, even with modern technical equipment.
Suppose that the cathedral is not at all what we see, its true purpose is not to worship the gods and keep the powers of the rulers in it. This monumental building, no matter how wild it sounds, served as a source for the production of electrical energy.
What's wrong with the Alexandrian column
Another example, in the center of Palace Square there is a granite column of Alexandria, the second one lies nearby under a layer of soil. She was discovered quite recently.
Assuming that on the column, there was a metal winding (or concentric circles of metal that were later dismantled). And if there was technological equipment at the base of the column, those who installed them owned the secret of controlling such equipment.

In 1871, this column was dismantled into segments, of which it consists. Inside it is hollow, with a spiral staircase. It is possible that the Alexandrian column is also hollow inside. Everything that was on them outside and inside from metal equipment - dismantled.
During the reign of Peter I, his decrees were ordered: to remove everything that is iron and break it, throw it into the river that cannot be broken.
Continuing to persist, historians come up with the most insane theories, justifying these gigantic masterpiece buildings with the grandeur of centuries.
But, by no means the greatness of the tall people who lived in this city, and created this beauty, who were smart, talented, civilized, and we cannot repeat their creations.
