Consists of an ancient sanctuary and a medieval fortress. The central and highest place is occupied by a niche (tomb) carved into the rock, to which a solemn staircase leads - this is a symbolic tomb of Orpheus, so that he would be an intermediary between heaven and earth, between gods and people.
Presumably, this complex dates back to the 4th millennium BC. e.
During excavations in 2004-2007. in the village of Tatul, a whole circle of hearths was discovered - altars, on which offerings and libations were made to the gods. In the ashes, archaeologists have found hundreds of objects associated with ancient cults, including a golden mask that resembles masks discovered at one time in the royal tombs of Mycenae, clay human idols, vessels for drinking holy wine, a priestly rod, as well as many human remains.
