Not so long ago, we wrote about the Englishwoman Sharron Call, who claims to have photographed Death with a scythe at Doncaster Hospital. Now, another resident of the United Kingdom has managed to capture this grim reaper in the picture. At least, the author of the photo herself thinks so.
Colleen McCallum, 55, from Aberdeen, says she recently went on a country hike with her 22-year-old daughter Pippi. The British women found themselves in the Glen Affrick Valley near the village of Kannich and took many pictures in nature. Mother and daughter looked at them, returning home the same day. However, one of the received frames really horrified our heroines.
A mysterious photograph shows an incomprehensible figure, similar to a man with a pale face and a hoodie. Colleen admits that she immediately thought about Death, and this thought scared her to the point of goosebumps. The women assure that no one was nearby at the time of the shooting. The Scottish women hope that it was just a play of light and shadow, but researchers of supernatural phenomena do not share their opinion, believing that women were lucky enough to capture something mysterious.
For example, the famous British ghost hunter Stephen Waterston suggests that the woman could photograph the ghost of a monk in the hollow. The fact is that from 1776 to 1813 there was a monastery not far from where the misfortune happened. One of the novices, according to history, was possessed by a demon, and the man killed three people, after which he committed suicide. An urban legend says that his restless spirit still wanders here, but has long paid no attention to the living.
Residual phantom - this is what British paranormal experts call this phenomenon. According to them, someday the ghost will finally disperse and rush into other dimensions - more subtle planes of being, but while he is forced to wander between the worlds, involuntarily leading the living into surprise and horror.
Skeptics on the World Wide Web, of course, refuse to believe that someone's spirit, and even more so that Death itself fell on this picture. According to many materialists, this is a pareidolic illusion (how skeptics adore this explanation). Other doubters believe that it was an accidental hooded tourist, accidentally photographed by McCallum.
