Modern civilization probably behaves much worse than the ancients. Smart alien civilizations can identify chaotic activities within humanity as a threat to other cosmic cultures. By observing us from afar, intelligent aliens can detect abrupt changes in the Earth's atmosphere and view them as signs of aggression.
A scenario is not excluded in which alien civilizations will stop the development of mankind. “They can take decisive action to deter us from becoming a serious threat to other civilizations,” the scientists explain.
