2. Runestone Bjorkthorpe
In the province of Blekinge, Sweden, there are several standing stones in a circle. Some believe that ancient tombs are located here. However, no one knows for sure why these stones were installed. It is known that the stones were installed by more than one person, although they appeared at about the same time - in the 7th century AD. One of these stones, called Bjorkthorpe, really has mystical properties, an ancient runic curse is written on it:
I, the master of the runes, have hidden mighty runes here. [To be in] debauchery, not to know peace, in exile [to be] killed by magic to the one who destroys this monument. I predict doom.
According to legend dating back to the 15th century, a man tried to remove this stone to make way for crops to be planted. 6. Curse of Diamond Hope
The Hope Diamond is perhaps the most famous diamond in the world. Apparently he was kidnapped from the forehead of an idol in the 17th century. The priests of the temple put a curse on the stone, which has been in effect for several centuries. Immediately after the theft, the stone was sold to a French dealer in precious stones, who was soon attacked in Constantinople by a pack of mad dogs and bitten to death. Before his death, the merchant managed to present the stone to King Louis XIV of France. He had no idea that the stone is capable of bringing misfortune …
Princess de Lamballe, who wore this stone all the time, was killed during the Great French Revolution. A sad fate also befell the king's finance minister, who then took the stone for himself, he ended his life in prison. All the jewelers associated with this diamond ended their lives under strange circumstances, including committing suicide, like Jacques Kolot. However, scholars reject the theory of the curse imposed on the Hope Diamond, arguing that such stories served as "spinning" the stone so that it could be profitably sold. But who would want to own the cursed stone?

8. Curse of the crying boy
The portrait of an unknown boy is said to have caused many explosions and fires around the world. Each time, the painting was found untouched in disaster sites. Prominent researcher Dr. George Mallory was intrigued by these facts and began searching for the author of the work.
He nevertheless found the artist of this painting, who turned out to be an old man who lived in Madrid, who said that he painted the picture many years ago when he found an orphan boy loitering through the streets of the city. This boy was the only survivor of the fire from all members of his family. The artist also said that a priest who knew the boy warned him that the child was bringing fires to all houses where he was allowed. The artist did not want to believe in these stories and began to take care of the child, whose name was Dan Bonillo, until his own studio burned down. After that, the artist kicked out the boy, whom he never saw again.

10. The curse of the Kennedy clan
If you have a large family, it is possible that one of its members will die due to accidents. However, an incredibly long list of deaths belongs to the Kennedy family. Ted Kennedy, after his passenger Mary Jo Copehne died in a car accident, said that a serious curse probably weighs on the Kennedy family.
Like most other curses, the Kennedy curse is tied to injustice: Joseph Kennedy Sr. forced his daughter, Rosemary Kennedy, to have a lobotomy at the age of 23. It seemed to family members that Rosemary was growing up as a retarded child and experienced sudden mood swings, possibly as a result of isolation and feelings of inferiority during her teens. Thus, the father decided that the operation could cure his daughter, but the lobotomy left her disabled for the rest of her life (she died naturally at the age of 86). It is worth noting that of the 5 children of Joseph Kennedy Sr., Rosemary is the only one who died a natural death.
