Major General of the GRU, retired, the historian of the special services Valery Malevanny, spoke in an interview with the Zvezda TV channel about the cooperation of psychics and parapsychologists with the special services.
According to him, attracting people with unusual abilities to the service of the state is a common thing not only in Russia, but also in Western countries.
“Yeltsin had his own secret parapsychological service. Every president, every special service has such a service. And the best psychics are involved in it. The same Juna was in the service of the KGB, had the rank of major. This is normal, usually,”Malevanny said.
According to the general, there were once 27 specialized institutes under the KGB of the USSR, including those for extrasensory perception.
“Each special service is engaged in this, the CIA academy has similar institutions. Many psychics were in the service of world leaders: Wolf Messing was with Stalin, as well as the witch Natalya Durova and shaman women. Yeltsin had his own special service, which was part of the apparatus,”the historian said.
