The screams that were heard from the classrooms were chilling. The students claim to have seen a ghost figure that caused massive hysteria on campus.
A mysterious figure in black who appeared out of nowhere, leading students and teachers to a state of mass hysteria, forced the school to suspend all classes in April 2016. When the school was reopened, the screams of the students resumed and can still be heard today.
Malaysian media reports claim that dozens of high school students and teachers were engulfed in a wave of mass hysteria. The hysteria and buzz surrounding the incident, which recurs at regular intervals, was so intense that the media are still not allowed to enter the school grounds to investigate.

The school, with over 1,000 students and 80 teachers, has since reopened under the supervision of several teachers and Islamic doctors.
The screams were repeated again at the Malaysian school in Kelantan State on Sunday. The mayor of the city said that 100 teachers said they clearly saw the black ghost figure. For the first time such an incident was registered at the school in 2001 after its opening.
Islamic practicing shamans were called to the closed school in the hope of ridding the place of restless spirits. Together with the school administration, they held their prayer ceremonies.
“When I held the hand of one of the disciples, my hands were unusually heavy. I read prayers after which the disciple felt better. When he went home, I sensed the presence of someone on the left side of my body. I saw flashes of black color, a black figure,”said the shaman.

Teachers help an injured student.
Shaman Ibrahim prayed when he lost control of himself. “The black shadow seemed to be trying to enter my body. My colleagues around me recited prayers from the Koran. My head was swollen, my whole body was numb and tears were streaming down my face,”he says.
This is not the first time that mass hysteria has occurred. In September 2013, 20 high school students in the Philippines became “possessed” by evil spirits. The management of the Philippine school in Cebu was forced to suspend classes in order to conduct prayer rituals and rid the school of evil spirits.
