An interesting moment - one of those buried in the skull had a hole. Archaeologists believe that these are traces of an unsuccessful craniotomy operation. According to scientists, the operation was carried out, after which the deceased lived for some time with this wound.
However, he still did not manage to live long, because the hole in the skull is not a broken arm. It is also unclear whether the deceased are relatives or not. The answer to this question can only be given by a DNA examination, which is planned to be carried out.
Together with the remains, the fluid pumped out of the sarcophagus was given for analysis. Researchers believe that there may be other ancient artifacts in the area of the find, so it was decided to continue excavations.
