You know, it has always been difficult for me to understand myths and legends, because these are just legends and fairy tales that have been passed down from generation to generation and it is very difficult to distinguish truth from fiction. In fact, it seems to me that some of the legends may well be true, albeit severely distorted.

If you believe the Bible, then the first wife of Adam was Eve, from whom all mankind was born. Even though she picked the forbidden fruit, she was generally an obedient lamb and did not rebel against her husband, Adam.

But the Bible tells us this … Many believe that this most famous book does not reflect the real course of history and has been repeatedly rewritten, many changes have been made to the holy book so as not to bring confusion to the ranks of believers and not to doubt the power of God.

If we take other sources, then the first woman and wife of Adam was not obedient Eve at all, but a rebel named Lilith. A self-willed devil who is tired of serving Adam and she decided to run away from him. Anywhere, even to hell itself. But even here, not everything is simple in the interpretation of these legends and completely contradictory information is indicated in different sources.

Lilith managed to escape from the righteous anger of God and become the ruler of hell and the wife of Lucifer, who was expelled from heaven for rebelling against God. She is the embodiment of sin and lust with a very difficult character.

Other sources claim that God sent angels in pursuit, who managed to catch Lilith and make the mother of all demons as punishment, and she again went to hell.

And according to the third popular version, God also caught the fugitive and called to repent of sin and obey Adam, but she refused. As a punishment, she must give birth to children and see their death, the process does not stop and she must constantly endure these torments.

If Lilith was indeed the first wife of Adam, then it is clear why they decided to delete her from the Bible. She is too willful and shows a complete lack of fear of God, not sharing his desires and whims.

Religions such characters are extremely unprofitable, otherwise people will lose all fear of the so-called God. And where there is no fear, then society can begin to think independently, which is very disadvantageous for religious leaders.
