In Alaska, there is one mysterious place with an equally mysterious name - the Alaska Triangle. It is known for the fact that people periodically disappear on its territory. And the total number of missing people to date has already exceeded the number of local residents.
The Alaska Triangle area covers several American cities at once: Juneau, Anchorage and Barrow. The territory of the mysterious triangle is very large and covers thousands of kilometers: these are lakes, mountains, and plains.
There are also local residents, including the Tlingita tribe. They have legends that an evil humanoid creature called Kushtaka lives in this place. This creature is either a spirit or a werewolf, has a human body and an otter's head. It lures its victims to a reservoir, while emitting a woman's cry or a cry of a child, then takes them away with it forever. The Indians explain the cases of disappearance of people in the territory of the Alaska Triangle by the existence of Kushtaku.
The total number of missing persons has now reached 16,000. Here, as well as over the famous Bermuda Triangle, whole planes disappear. One of the first such cases occurred in 1950. Then the air traffic controllers lost contact with the plane flying from Alaska to Texas. There were 44 passengers on board. He never got in touch again, but it was not possible to find its wreckage. After that, the same cases of the disappearance of several private planes were recorded.
In 1972, another plane disappeared here, with a famous politician on board. Therefore, the search for the aircraft was taken very seriously - it was the largest search in the history of the United States. For forty days the entire area of the alleged crash was combed by forty military aircraft. But the search engines did not manage to find any aircraft wreckage or human remains.
Some scientists explain the mysterious disappearances of people and technology over the Alaska triangle by the fact that this area is a zone of strong electromagnetic radiation. Similar zones are located above the Bermuda Triangle, at Stonehenge, on Easter Island and in the area of the Egyptian pyramids. These radiations are capable of influencing not only physical bodies, but also causing visions and disorientation. Also, in such areas, equipment breakdowns are often observed, which may explain aircraft crashes.

There is another version regarding what is happening in the Alaska Triangle zone. According to this version, there is a buried pyramid underground, and not even one. The adherents of this theory do not know who and when built these pyramids, but call them ancient. In 1992, geologists actually discovered a huge underground pyramid here. It was possible to find the mysterious object quite by accident - when compiling a seismic map of these areas of Alaska. The military then, together with scientists, were preparing for possible underground nuclear tests, which China intended to conduct.
Of course, this information has been classified for a long time. And only in 2012, a retired military man said that an underground pyramid with a height of about 350 meters was indeed discovered fifty miles from Mount McKinley. The find was given the name of the Dark Pyramid. It is still controlled by the Pentagon. But since the territory of the Alaska Triangle is not fenced off, people continue to disappear here.
