Scientists are preparing a satellite to study the anomalous zone, which in a strange way began to shift to the West.
The Bermuda Triangle, an area in the Atlantic Ocean bounded by lines from Florida to Bermuda, then to Puerto Rico and back to Florida through the Bahamas, is actually considered anomalous. It even has a scientific name - the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA).
It is known that something strange is going on in the Bermuda Triangle with the ocean and the atmosphere, ships and planes disappear here, the "Flying Dutchmen" are announced - ships abandoned by the crews. But few people know that the oddities extend to areas located hundreds of kilometers from the Earth's surface. For example, astronauts and cosmonauts report seeing flashes in their eyes as they fly over the Bermuda Triangle. At the same time, personal computers begin to glitch, and even fail. Junk and equipment - especially thin, which, from sins, sometimes began to be turned off for a while.
Measurements carried out with the help of satellites showed that just above the South Atlantic anomaly is the place where the Earth's inner radiation belt - the so-called Van Allen belt - is located at a minimum distance from the planet's surface. And it is possible that it is thanks to this neighborhood that various events occur here that go beyond the usual framework.

Italian scientists from the National Institute for Astrophysics in Bologna, Italy, headed by Riccardo Campana, intend to try to understand the nature of the mysterious phenomena. They plan to send a satellite into space that will regularly fly over the SAA and take measurements.

In the meantime, the Italians have used some previously unclaimed data obtained by the BeppoSAX orbiter. He worked from 1996 to 2003, his trajectory passed just over the Bermuda Triangle. It turned out: in the upper zones of the SAA, the radiation is greatly increased, at the bottom, on the contrary, it is extremely low. And the anomaly itself is shifting to the West. Therefore, it is possible that supernatural phenomena will also shift - to the Gulf of Mexico. And who knows, maybe they should include the mysterious explosion of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform, which happened here in April 2010, and the subsequent - catastrophic - oil spill?
The platform in the Gulf of Mexico may not have caught fire by accident.

The Earth has two radiation belts - external and internal. They accumulate high-energy particles that have penetrated into the magnetosphere, thereby protecting our planet from them. The inner belt consists mainly of protons, the outer one consists of electrons. They resemble toroids in shape.
The inner belt was discovered by the American scientist James Van Allen, after analyzing data from the Explorer-1 satellite. The existence of the external was proved by Soviet physicists Sergei Vernov and Alexander Chudakov thanks to the measurements made by Sputnik-3.
According to some reports, the Earth from time to time acquires a third belt - during the years of increased solar activity. When the luminary calms down, this additional protection disappears.
In 2012, NASA sent two RBSP satellites. Their measurements showed that regions are formed in the belts in which the particles are almost instantly accelerated to almost the speed of light. In this case, the planet begins to emit ultra-low-frequency electromagnetic waves.
In a word, there are enough riddles somehow connected with the Bermuda Triangle.
