Thanks to some Omsk history lovers who know how to work in archives, more and more photos of old Omsk are being born. This selection contains photographs of the famous Omsk master M. V. Gorokhova, there is an original commentary for each photo, which I will quote here.
1. “Installation of a traffic light on the street Lenin at the intersection with st. Partisan. 1950 g."
One of the first traffic lights in Omsk is being installed, and with the mechanization of work, traffic light workers are sad: a lorry and two stairs - that's all. The ZIS-154 bus also got into the frame, it is interesting what this route he had and to which bridge he was walking.

But the "gorsvetovtsy" already have a normal TVG-11 aerial platform based on the GAZ-MM.

3. “The first snow harvester on Partizanskaya street. November 13, 1952"
This "combine", in its scheme not very different from modern counterparts, was called 2C-3 and was manufactured on the ZIS-150 chassis. Pay attention - the hood and fenders of the ZIS chassis remained standard.

The D-175 bulldozer is working on the basis of the ChTZ S-80 tractor.

Two ZIS - passenger and cargo. On the ZIS-101 there are still numbers of the old model, the new guest of 1946 is just beginning to be introduced.

In the foreground is a ZIS-3 cannon, behind it are some kind of mortar and an M-30 howitzer.

This is only a small part of Gorokhov's legacy, how many more photographic treasures are kept in the state archives, and not only they.
