This concrete structure, dubbed Runita Dome, is located in the Pacific Ocean of Enevetak Atoll, Marshall Islands.
This facility contains 101,498 cubic meters of plutonium-contaminated radioactive waste from the US nuclear tests conducted in the Marshall Islands.
Plutonium is one of the most toxic radioactive materials with a half-life of up to 24,000 years.
