A mysterious place, mention of which is found in written sources of the 19th century, is located in Mexico.
The zone of silence is a lifeless desert. From vegetation there are only cacti, and from living creatures - snakes. On this rather vast territory, radio waves disappear, communication from drivers disappears, and pilots see only interference on their radars.
People began to notice paranormal phenomena in this area more than a hundred years ago. Some witnesses described fiery circles flying downward, as well as elongated objects in the sky emitting light.
In the 1970s, an American-owned Athena rocket suddenly deviated from its intended course and headed for the "zone of silence," then fell to the ground. After this incident, scientists became seriously interested in this anomalous territory.
Harry de la Peña was one of the first to try to investigate its inexplicable properties. The group working under his leadership discovered that communication by means of a walkie-talkie was simply impossible here. As the researchers later explained, the area is dominated by magnetic force, which muffles any radio signals.
Also, among the recorded conversations with eyewitnesses, there are stories of meetings with unusual tall people with blond hair who spoke to them quite politely. Some of them introduced themselves as social workers, others said they came from above. They moved in streamlined cars with large wheels. They were interested in everyday events and came exclusively for water. Witnesses describe them as very handsome but strangely dressed.
Sometimes there are also stories about dwarfs, which eyewitnesses initially took for children. Taking a closer look at the undersized people, they noticed that the guests were dressed in helmets and overalls.
In this lifeless place, there was a frequent fall of meteorites. In the 1950s, a meteorite was discovered here containing crystal structures that turned out to be incredibly ancient. According to researchers, they are older than our solar system.

Scientists say that some of the flickering lights seen in the silence zone were the result of experiments conducted by the United States to create spy robots. In the silence zone there is another unusual phenomenon: a magnetic mountain. The first known UFO photo was taken against its background. An eyewitness managed to photograph it before the device soared up and disappeared into the clouds.
There are many assumptions of scientists about the causes of the local anomalous phenomena, but they all explain them only in part. Until the end, the secret of the appearance of glowing lights, meteorites, unknown tall people and strange dwarfs has not yet been succeeded.
