Does today's Ukraine not remind you of a huge sect? Too many signs match. Here is what Dvorkin Alexander Leonidovich (a Russian researcher of modern religious sectarianism) writes about the signs of a totalitarian sect;

Such chants are used to suppress the individuality of a person, to turn him into a herd animal. It also serves as a kind of marker - "I am mine". In addition, there is also - "Moskalyaku on Gillaka", "Glory to Ukraine, glory to the heroes!", "Bandera will come, he will bring order."
With these chants and jumps, a very interesting phenomenon occurs. In the course of which, over time, the body "hooks" on it like a drug. During regular jumping, the body produces some endorphin. There is a slight euphoria, a feeling of happiness and pleasure. Moreover, the number of words in chants is such that they are pronounced in one breath. Which creates the effect of mild hyperventilation. The brain receives an increased dose of oxygen, which causes the effect of mild intoxication. As a result, the brain, having received such stimulation, begins to force the consciousness to justify this. And as a result, a person very quickly becomes addicted to this endorphin "drug".

The majority of Ukrainians, even Russians by origin, have a clear picture of the world. According to it, "Russia is the aggressor that has oppressed Ukraine for centuries", "the Ukrainian nation is the oldest and most cultured on Earth", "the whole world supports Ukraine", "in the Donbas, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stop Russia's aggression." No facts, no arguments are accepted and rejected as knowingly false. In this picture of the world "Ukraine - light, Russia - darkness" there are no halftones.

In Ukraine, violence has become the norm. If you are not a “patriot” of Ukraine, then you can be beaten, maimed, and even killed. You can rip off the St. George's ribbon from the child, you can hit and pour brilliant green on the veteran. And most will approve of these actions. You can rejoice at the death of people in the Donbass, they are not members of the SUGS sect. You can shoot your comrades-in-arms on the Maidan, and then declare them "Heavenly Hundred". You can greet your compatriots with stones only because they have been evacuated from China. And there are a lot of such examples.
Creation of a “heroic myth”. On which ideology is built.
All Ukraine is built on myths. The myth of the UPA and the hero Bandera. The myth replaced the real story in the textbooks. And smaller myths constantly appear. The myth of the "Heavenly Hundred", the myth of the "heroine" Savchenko, the myth of the "cyborgs". Remove all these myths and Ukraine will simply collapse.
As a result, we see a sect country in front of us. A sect that is aggressive and ready to kill those who disagree. A sect where it is considered normal to comment on a photo of a murdered woman with the words “Colorada female”. Burnt in Odessa - "fried Colorades". The sect simply doesn't consider them human. And this is not even Nazism. Even if the German Nazis called Russians, Jews, and many other nations "Untermensch - Untermensch" that is, subhuman. The sect of Ukrainians does not consider them people at all. And what is most terrible, this infection has affected all age groups, and not just young people. And aged people are calling to cut the Donbass, cut off the water to Crimea, and so on. The wave of hatred just rolls over. All this is actively fueled by propaganda and it is hardly possible to reach out to the minds of the sectarians. All of this is very similar to one description from a famous novel:
