In Donetsk (Rostov region) on October 5, police received an unusual call from a local resident. The caller told them that a man was sitting in the wasteland - her son, with a huge knife in his skull.

According to local media reports, when the police arrived at the indicated place in the area of the factory's treatment facilities, they actually found there a 40-year-old Donetsk resident named Yuri with the handle of a huge meat knife sticking out in his head.

At the same time, the man did not show anything that he was in pain or that he had any deterioration in health. He was conscious and spoke coherently.

When the policeman cautiously approached the strange "wounded" and asked him the question "what happened?", The answer was no less overwhelming.

“My nose is not breathing, I pierced my head so that my head could breathe,” the victim said judiciously.

The policeman told the man to sit and not make any sudden movements, and then called the ambulance and the doctors took Yuri to the hospital, where during the operation the knife was removed from the skull.

According to the surgeons, the man was incredibly lucky, the knife blade practically pierced the skull from top to bottom, but it entered neatly between the two hemispheres and did not affect important parts of the brain.

Also, journalists learned that the victim is registered in a psycho-dispensary, but the exact diagnosis is not reported, presumably he has schizophrenia.

A week ago, a similar incident took place in South Africa. A 25-year-old guy walked for 4 days with a 10-centimeter knife blade stuck in the facial bones of the skull. He was stabbed during a drunken brawl and remembered practically nothing of that day.

He went to the hospital for help only 4 days later due to the fact that he had a headache and an eye problem. When the doctors found the blade on the X-ray, the guy was very surprised, since he did not remember at all how he received the blow.

The African, as well as the Donetsk resident, was very lucky and the knife did not touch large blood vessels and important organs. Moreover, he did not even damage his eyesight. Already 2 days after the operation to remove the blade, the guy was discharged with a promise to come for a consultation in a month.
