Kuli Bai, a 22-year-old Indian woman, gave birth right at her home in a small village near the city of Pindwara in northern India. Her relatives were so shocked by the sight of the newborn that at first they wanted to kill him by throwing him into the river.

In a male baby born, two additional legs grew from the belly, between which there was a penis and one small, underdeveloped arm. Thus, the baby had four legs, three arms and two penises in total. The excess organs probably belonged to a twin brother and, due to intrauterine disorders, became part of the body of one child.

The news of the unusual baby began to spread quickly around the area and soon the doctor Bharat Pal Danda from Matra Chhaya Hospital in Pindwar heard about it, who sent an ambulance to the village and ordered to bring the woman and the baby to his hospital.

“I was shocked to learn that my mother’s relatives are very religious and superstitious people and they wanted to kill him because of his“ugly appearance”. I could not sit back and do nothing. When they arrived, I was upset to see the child, he was in critical condition and he was urgently taken to the Jaipur hospital 450 km from Pindwara.

There, the child was immediately operated on, relieving him of extra limbs. The operation was directed by Dr. Parvin Mathur.

- The baby had four legs, three arms and two penises. The parasitic arm was underdeveloped. The child's internal organs were fine, but he was not feeling well due to parasitic limbs. We removed the extra legs, arm, penis and the inside of the twin parasite. The boy is currently in a stable condition, but for now we will keep him under observation for at least a week.
