There can be several reasons for the loss of mass of a star, as scientists suggest.

The first reason may be the evaporation of solar particles from the surface of the Sun. The speed of these particles can reach 1200 km / s and about 1.5 tons can evaporate every second. The scale is amazing, but thanks to evaporation, we can observe the northern lights on our planet.

Another reason may lie in the very core of the star, or rather in the synthesis of helium and hydrogen. Thanks to this reaction, the Sun emits light, and hydrogen can turn into energy and subsequently leave the star in the form of neutrinos, going into outer space.
