Interestingly, unlike these many books, in the Bible only two names of angels are called. There are reports of angels who did not want to give their name. One of the angels mentioned in the Bible, when asked to say his name, answered: “I am the leader of the army of God,” another angel replied: “What are you asking about my name? It's wonderful. This speaks of the modesty of the angels, that they wanted to focus people's attention not on themselves, but on the message from God.
From the Bible, you can also learn that there are also evil angels. They are also called fallen angels or demons. They also have their own interest in people. They deceive people, mislead them, take them away from God. And it turns out they are very successful, tk. they, like good angels, are superior to man in all respects. The Bible warns us: “Do not believe every spirit, but check whether they are of God…” 1 John 4: 1. Therefore, before checking the predictions from the angel, it would be correct to check whether what they convey to the will of God.
Today you can also hear stories about angels, where they helped someone out of trouble. In one popular book, you can read the story of how an angel led a girl out of a burning house. Like two students who got stuck in a snowdrift by car, suddenly a truck pulls them out of there, and disappears without even leaving a trace. There is also another work that tells the story of a woman who contracted cancer. A few days before the operation, a tall stranger came to her. He called himself Thomas, and said that from God. He raised his hand and hot light passed through the woman's body. When she underwent surgery, the doctors were amazed that the cancer had disappeared!
For many who read such stories, a natural question arises, why do they help some people and not others? Millions of people have died from accidents or serious illness, during wars, and natural disasters. Many of them may have been desperate for help. Why didn't the guardian angel come to their aid? Angels, of course, are interested in our physical well-being, but they are more interested in our spiritual state. That is, what a close relationship we have with God. Because the benefits of physical help are temporary, but spiritual ones are eternal. It's like if you want to help a person, don't give him a fish, but give him a fishing rod, because such help has a longer lasting result.
Modern books about angels encourage children to show passivity and blind faith in angels without using their mental faculties. Such thinking encourages us to believe that we are walking through life with a kind angel, we have nothing to worry about, since nothing depends on us anyway.
People often forget that God is behind the angels. He is willing to help people if they ask Him for help, not angels.
Of course, we do not know much about angels, we do not know to what extent God uses them in order to help us in our daily affairs. But one thing we know for sure, angels serve God as well as people, and they are interested in our good relationship with God, because the success of our life depends on this.
