49-year-old tourist Karen Hargreaves from the Australian city of Perth claims to have recently visited the United Kingdom and accidentally photographed a real witch at St. James's Cemetery in Liverpool.
The author of the mysterious photo believes that it could be Greentooth Jenny - a legendary character in English folklore. Greentooth Jenny is a wicked witch who is believed to live in stagnant bodies of water and drag gape bystanders to their bottom. According to urban legends, the supernatural old woman is especially fond of scaring, torturing and drowning young children.
In the image below, in fact, you can see a human figure in a gray hoodie, standing among graves and dense thickets. Karen says that neither she nor her husband Lenny noticed anything unusual at the time of shooting at the cemetery. However, later, looking at the photographs they received on vacation, they realized that they had captured something strange and probably frightening.
But was it really a witch who has lived here since at least the Middle Ages? Anything can happen. According to the Hargreaves spouses, they readily believe in the paranormal, and therefore see only such an explanation for what happened.
