10. Savoy Hotel, Missouri
Missouri is a place known for the mysteries surrounding Ruskin Bond's fascinating stories.
But the most notorious building in the area is the Savoy Hotel, built in 1902 as the summer residence and pleasure capital of the British Rajah. The walls of the Gothic-style architectural monument keep the story of two mediums, Miss Frances Garnett-Orme and Miss Eva Mountstefen, who stayed here in 1911. Miss Frances was found murdered one morning. The conclusion of the forensic medical examination indicated that the woman was poisoned, and the poison was in the drink. Miss Eve was arrested and brought to trial, which acquitted her. They say that the ghost of the murdered woman is still wandering around the hotel in search of the person who poisoned her.

The Golconda fortress, built by the Kakatiya dynasty of Indian rajas, is located west of Hyderabat.
It is believed that the beautiful and talented courtesan, Taramati, was liked by Shah Abdullah for her dancing and singing, and as a result he married her. 8. Fort Shaniwar Wada, Pune
This palace, which also served as a fortification, was erected on the banks of the Mula-Mutkha River in the Kasbah Pet area.
It is known for its unique architecture. Although most of the palace was destroyed by fire in 1818, the building is still frequented by tourists. But locals advise against coming to the ruins after sunset, especially on a full moon. It is said that the young 13-year-old prince was brutally murdered by his relatives in the palace. The assassins chased the prince throughout the building. The frightened boy asked his uncle to help him and save him. You can still hear these heartbreaking screams in the palace at midnight.
7. Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi
The staircase is listed as an architectural heritage of India and is under state protection.
There is no information about who built this architectural structure or who Agrasen was, but it is believed that the building belongs to the period of the Mahabharata era. The staircase was reconstructed in the 14th century with money from the city of Agrawala. The unique structure consists of 103 steps that lead to the black waters, which are under the spell. If you look at the water, it hypnotizes and makes you want to commit suicide. Many succumbed to this influence.

The fort was built in 1613 in Amber by King Madho Singh and is listed as an architectural heritage of India.
Locals advise against visiting it after sunset and before sunrise, since the one who broke the rule disappeared forever. According to legend, the fortress was built so that the shadow that the building casts in the sunlight during the day does not reach the house of guru Balu Nath. But when Madho Singh's son refused to follow this rule and completed the building up, the fort was cursed, as a result of which the building's roof constantly collapsed.
According to another legend, the local sorcerer Singhia tried to charm the princess Ratnawali, but she, using his own sorcery, killed the magician. This story also ended in a curse. Many spirits lurk inside the fortress, and the locals believe that Princess Ratnawali will be reincarnated to break the chains of curse.
3. House of Writers, Kolkata
The Writers' House, which was built in Calcutta, the center of power and politics in British India, is the place where writers and employees from Britain stay.
Before renovation began, the building was used as the secretariat of the West Bengal government until October 2013. On December 8, 1930, three independence fighters, Benou Basu, Badal Gupta and Dinesh Gupta, entered the building and assassinated Police General Simpson in order to stop the bullying of the prisoners. Since that time, they say, the ghost of the inspector still roams the building, and workers never stay until dark at work.

The Hastings House is an integral part of the old Belvedere Estate. The house was built by the Governor General in Alipur and was used as his residence.
Today it houses the girls' college of the University of Calcutta.
