Vitaly Pravdivtsev, a well-known specialist in anomalous phenomena, once unearthed a remarkable ufological story that happened in Estonia. It, as will be seen from his story, is far from complete, and this circumstance plays into the hands of those who consider such phenomena to be fundamentally unknowable.
In the mid-1960s, a resident of a small village near Tallinn, car mechanic Virgo Mitt, began digging a well in his yard. Suddenly, the shovel bumped into some kind of metal object. Attempts to dig it up or bypass it failed. The impression was that it was a stove! Then Virgo took out a jackhammer and the work began to boil with renewed vigor. A few days later, a hole was gaping in the slab about four centimeters thick, quite suitable for a well. Water began to flow quickly through it. This was the end of the epic with the well.
