What happens to the soul after death
Human individuality, which is the essence of our personality - or soul (spirit), continues life after the death of the physical body. These indications are based on the emergence of new evidence of the continued existence of the soul and the possibility of its reincarnation in another body - a phenomenon called reincarnation. It is more likely that we are talking about the conservation of electromagnetic energy that makes up the mind, our habitual "I", with which we identify ourselves.
There are many stories of people who claim that during their near-death experiences (NDE) they passed through a dark tunnel, at the end of which they met an angel or a figure of Christ. In some cases, they were greeted by deceased friends and relatives to escort them to the new habitat of a soul devoid of a physical body. After death, each soul finds itself at a certain energetic level of existence, which corresponds to the level of its development and vibrations. In the Subtle World, it is possible to find beautiful places filled with beauty and light, where highly developed souls dwell, but there are also dark and terrible regions that are inhabited by immoral and malicious creatures. The inhabitants of the Subtle World are able to descend to lower levels, but cannot ascend to higher sub-planes. This is because each plane of existence in the Astral world has its own vibration rate, which increases with each level. The higher the Astral plane, the faster the speed of vibration of energy on this plane.
The vibration speed of the soul's energy is determined by the level of its development and fully corresponds to the energy of the plane on which it is located. There was such a famous case, which confirms the existence of soul life after death, happened in the 30s of the XX century, when a British airship, codenamed "R101", crashed into a mountain range in France. In the collision, 48 of the 54 passengers were killed instantly. Among them was the captain of the airship, a young aviation lieutenant named H. Irwin.

In a trembling voice, Lieutenant Irwin, through Eileen Garrett, began to quickly explain in detail how and why the accident occurred, using specific technical terms. Lacking any knowledge in the field of aeronautics, Eileen Garrett described in detail the internal and external structure of the airship, its mechanical components and provided an accurate explanation of the causes of the disaster that occurred.
The reporter transcribed the entire story and published it immediately. The description of this amazing encounter caught the attention of one engineer who was involved in the construction of the airship. The name of this engineer was Charlton, and he confirmed that the information provided by Eileen Garrett in a trance state was not only reliable, but also strictly confidential and was known only to the captain and those who took part in the creation of the airship.
According to Charlton, Lieutenant Irwin deliberately made contact with the people with the help of Eileen Garrett in order to inform the government about the shortcomings of the airship, so that such a tragedy would not happen again. Among the prominent scientists who tried to find evidence for the continuation of the soul's life after death was the inventor of the light bulb and gramophone, Thomas Alva Edison. He was sure that in the interval between long and short waves there is a frequency that allows direct contact with the Astral. Over the years, he tried to invent an apparatus with which it would be possible to establish this connection, but his attempts were in vain. The inventor of the radio, Guglielmo Marconi, also worked in secret to create a device that would enable him to receive messages from the past. An ardent Catholic, Marconi hoped to hear Jesus' last words at the time of the crucifixion.
One of the pioneers in recording the voices of the deceased on tape and television was the Russian-born Swedish film producer Friedrich Jurgenson. For several years, Jürgenson has been recording forest birds singing in Sweden. Once, returning home from the forest, Jurgenson found on the tape not the singing of birds, but the voice of his deceased mother, who said: "Friedel, my little Friedel, can you hear me?"
In complete amazement, Jurgenson listened to the recording again and again heard the voice of his mother, who had died long before that. Raudive believed that anyone could conduct such experiments using precise and sensitive equipment to record the usual sounds of nature: birdsong, river water murmuring, thunderstorms, or the sound of sea waves. But then, among these sounds of nature, we can find echoes of another, Subtle world.
Among the voices of famous people recorded by Raudive were those of Churchill, Tolstoy, Hitler, Nietzsche, Kennedy, and Stalin. Most of the messages were extremely limited, and almost all of them confirmed the continuation of the life of the soul after the death of the physical body. “The dead continue to live, Konstantin”, “We are alive, Constantine” and “Please believe us” are typical examples of messages received by a Latvian psychologist.
In the 1970s, a student from England named David Ellis received a grant to study the voices recorded by Dr. Raudive. According to Ellis' conclusion, these recordings were not fake, but he suggested that Dr. Raudive may have created these voices in his imagination. Some time ago in the town of Arecibo in Puerto Rico, a mysterious incident occurred. Arecibo is one of the many small villages scattered across the Caribbean, but its history is filled with sinister legends and amazing events. Even the surrounding area is famous for its uniqueness.

In one respected family of the town there was a daughter who, shortly before the events described, got married and lived with her husband. She was 25 at the time and worked in the nearby town of Aguadilla, about an hour's drive from Arecibo. Every morning she left for work by car, and returned around six in the evening. It rained one afternoon, and on the way back home she lost control, crashed into a tree on the side of the road and died instantly. Her death was a heavy blow to her parents and young husband. The house, once filled with happiness and joy, suddenly became quiet and sad.
A few months later, at about six in the evening, a taxi driver was driving along the highway between Aguadilla and Arecibo. He had few passengers that day. While they were driving, the girl was silent all the time, but when they drove into Arecibo, she told the driver that she lived in a large, beautiful house in a prestigious area of the city. Arriving at the house, the girl asked the taxi driver to wait until she went into the house and brought the money. The driver agreed to wait outside the house. He saw the girl climb the steps leading to the wide veranda and disappear inside the house.
Time passed, and the girl did not return. Finally, the driver lost patience and began to worry. Suspecting that he might be a victim of scammers, he decided to knock on the door of the house. A pale, sad young man opened him. The taxi driver told about what had happened and demanded that the girl be called and she paid him for the trip. When the young man replied that no one entered the house, the indignant driver was finally convinced that they wanted to cheat him and deprive him of the money he had earned, and began to threaten to contact the police.
Suddenly the young man turned pale even more and asked the taxi driver to enter the house and wait a few minutes. The mistrustful driver agreed, but asked not to stay for a long time. A few minutes later the man returned with a photograph of the girl and asked the taxi driver: "Tell me, is this the girl who asked to take her home?" “Yes, it’s her, I swear by my mother,” the driver replied. “This is my wife,” said the young man, “who died in a car accident six months ago.”
If Panchadasi is correct, the beings who appear in cases like the one above are in fact the astral bodies of recently deceased people. On the other hand, there are many examples of similar materialization of those who died many years ago. In accordance with traditional beliefs, the astral body of a person disintegrates within a few months or, in extreme cases, years after death.
If such stories are not fiction, then what or who makes the appearance of ghosts possible, and how does this happen? Are we really dealing with the soul of a deceased person? And how, in the case of Arecibo, did the spirit manage to recreate and materialize the appearance, voice and manner of conversation of the deceased girl?
If the spirits inhabiting the Subtle World can establish contact with our material world, it is also possible that these beings are able to influence our thoughts and actions. This assumption will surely greatly upset those who want to have complete control of their lives. In addition, such an influence can be both positive and negative, depending on the level of development of a particular spirit.
For this reason, most religious and mystical schools teach that at the moment of making an important decision, we must make sure that it is really our decision, which is in accordance with personal beliefs. At the same time, one should avoid impulsive actions that may be dictated by the influence of the entities of the Astral world.

It is very likely that after the death of a person the instincts and emotions that make up his astral body continue to exist for some time along with memories and basic personality traits. Over time, this astral body is destroyed. We simply travel with the help of our subtle body in the astral world, to which our soul belongs. In a state of sleep, we move between the sub-planes of the Subtle World, experiencing joyful or frightening experiences.
