What happens to the soul after death

Human individuality, which is the essence of our personality - or soul (spirit), continues life after the death of the physical body. These indications are based on the emergence of new evidence of the continued existence of the soul and the possibility of its reincarnation in another body - a phenomenon called reincarnation. It is more likely that we are talking about the conservation of electromagnetic energy that makes up the mind, our habitual "I", with which we identify ourselves.

There are many stories of people who claim that during their near-death experiences (NDE) they passed through a dark tunnel, at the end of which they met an angel or a figure of Christ. In some cases, they were greeted by deceased friends and relatives to escort them to the new habitat of a soul devoid of a physical body. This habitat is located in the Astral world, woven of electromagnetic waves of different density and magnitude.

After death, each soul finds itself at a certain energetic level of existence, which corresponds to the level of its development and vibrations. According to the stories of people who have visited the Subtle World during an out-of-body experience or near-death experiences, there, as in the physical world, there are landscapes, oceans, rivers, plants, animals and even buildings created by means of the mind of the creatures inhabiting this world, who lived on Earth before … People who have come into contact with astral entities using transcommunication report that astral matter is easily modified and, under the influence of thought, is capable of assuming any shape and shape.

In the Subtle World, it is possible to find beautiful places filled with beauty and light, where highly developed souls dwell, but there are also dark and terrible regions that are inhabited by immoral and malicious creatures. These nightmarish places are also created by the thoughts and memories of their inhabitants, most of whom have committed horrific crimes and harmed themselves and those around them by their actions in their earthly lives.

The inhabitants of the Subtle World are able to descend to lower levels, but cannot ascend to higher sub-planes. This is because each plane of existence in the Astral world has its own vibration rate, which increases with each level. The higher the Astral plane, the faster the speed of vibration of energy on this plane.

The vibration speed of the soul's energy is determined by the level of its development and fully corresponds to the energy of the plane on which it is located. If the soul rises to a higher plane, it cannot endure stronger, faster vibrations and is forced to return to its previous level. But if it descends to a lower plane, the slow and frequent vibrations of the latter do not harm its molecular structure, and it can remain at this level as long as it wishes.

According to most mystical schools, highly developed souls descend to the lower levels of the Astral plane to help the spirits inhabiting its dark and gloomy regions, overcome the consequences of their spiritual degradation and embark on the path of correction.

Let's turn to the life of the soul in those supersonic spaces that lie beyond the material world known to us. To do this, we need to resort to a number of assumptions and guesses, however, based on logical assumptions.

First of all, if the soul consists of psychic energy - in other words, if the soul and mind are a single whole - it turns out that what we consider to be a soul is in fact part of the physical world. It is a physical substance, no matter how elusive it may seem, because energy in any form is part of the physical universe. We cannot see the hydrogen atom, but despite this it is a physical quantity. We even know its actual weight.

It is obvious that the physical world is one of the densest worlds on the lower planes of existence and in terms of its density is far superior to the Astral world. If highly developed souls are able to descend to the lower planes of being, they may well be in the material, physical world.

Swami Panchadasi and representatives of other mystical schools of the East believe that the astral bodies of the dead can remain on the earthly plane only for a short period of time, but they also argue that the soul can descend to a lower plane and stay here for a while, if it so desires. This means that after the disintegration of the astral body, the immortal soul, which is the receptacle of consciousness, can, if desired, return to the physical world.

If so, what can prevent evil spirits from coming into the physical world to hurt people? On the other hand, good spirits, apparently, can also return to Earth to provide support and assistance to their loved ones and all of humanity in overcoming difficulties and the development of a human being. These amazing assumptions are based on the stories of people who had to go through the experience of communicating with both evil and noble spirit inspirers.

There was such a famous case, which confirms the existence of soul life after death, happened in the 30s of the XX century, when a British airship, codenamed "R101", crashed into a mountain range in France. In the collision, 48 of the 54 passengers were killed instantly. Among them was the captain of the airship, a young aviation lieutenant named H. Irwin.

Two days after this tragedy, a group of mediums with the participation of the famous paranormal researcher Harry Price and journalist Ian Coster gathered at the State Laboratory for the Study of the Paranormal, where the medium Eileen Garrett was also invited. The researchers wanted to try to establish contact with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who fervently believed in reincarnation during his lifetime.

Conan Doyle, widely known as the creator of the works about Sherlock Holmes, devoted a lot of time to studying the issue of the continued existence of human individuality after physical death and for many years unsuccessfully tried to establish contact with the spirits of his mother and son, who died during the First World War. The researchers were confident that if Conan Doyle's spirit continued his life after his death, he would find a way to get in touch with them.

Shortly after starting the experiment, Eileen Garrett fell into a trance state. But instead of the voice of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, those present heard a rather dejected voice, informing them that he was Lieutenant of the Air Force H. Irwin, the captain of the ill-fated airship "R101".

In a trembling voice, Lieutenant Irwin, through Eileen Garrett, began to quickly explain in detail how and why the accident occurred, using specific technical terms. Lacking any knowledge in the field of aeronautics, Eileen Garrett described in detail the internal and external structure of the airship, its mechanical components and provided an accurate explanation of the causes of the disaster that occurred.

The reporter transcribed the entire story and published it immediately. The description of this amazing encounter caught the attention of one engineer who was involved in the construction of the airship. The name of this engineer was Charlton, and he confirmed that the information provided by Eileen Garrett in a trance state was not only reliable, but also strictly confidential and was known only to the captain and those who took part in the creation of the airship.

According to Charlton, Lieutenant Irwin deliberately made contact with the people with the help of Eileen Garrett in order to inform the government about the shortcomings of the airship, so that such a tragedy would not happen again. Six months later, the commission to investigate the accident found that all the information transmitted by Eileen Garrett in a state of trance, corresponds to reality to the smallest detail.

This striking event, confirming the possibility of life after death, turned Eileen Garrett into one of the most famous mediums in the world. Over the years, she wrote a number of books on the occult, including the rather popular Telepathy and Adventures in the Supernatural.

Among the prominent scientists who tried to find evidence for the continuation of the soul's life after death was the inventor of the light bulb and gramophone, Thomas Alva Edison. He was sure that in the interval between long and short waves there is a frequency that allows direct contact with the Astral. Over the years, he tried to invent an apparatus with which it would be possible to establish this connection, but his attempts were in vain. The inventor of the radio, Guglielmo Marconi, also worked in secret to create a device that would enable him to receive messages from the past. An ardent Catholic, Marconi hoped to hear Jesus' last words at the time of the crucifixion.

One of the pioneers in recording the voices of the deceased on tape and television was the Russian-born Swedish film producer Friedrich Jurgenson. For several years, Jürgenson has been recording forest birds singing in Sweden. Once, returning home from the forest, Jurgenson found on the tape not the singing of birds, but the voice of his deceased mother, who said: "Friedel, my little Friedel, can you hear me?"

In complete amazement, Jurgenson listened to the recording again and again heard the voice of his mother, who had died long before that. He began a series of lengthy experiments in which he recorded hundreds of voices mysteriously appearing on magnetic tape. 1967 - Pope Paul VI learned about these experiments, and information appeared that the Vatican was very interested in the voices from the Subtle World recorded by Jurgenson.

After Jurgenson's work became widely publicized, other researchers also began to conduct new various experiments. Among them was the Latvian psychologist Dr. Konstantin Raudiv. Raudive used new, very precise equipment in his research activities. 1968 - he recorded over 70,000 voices, in his opinion, came to us from the Otherworld. His work gained such prominence that eventually all recordings of supernatural voices began to be called "the voices of Raudive."

Raudive believed that anyone could conduct such experiments using precise and sensitive equipment to record the usual sounds of nature: birdsong, river water murmuring, thunderstorms, or the sound of sea waves. But then, among these sounds of nature, we can find echoes of another, Subtle world.

Among the voices of famous people recorded by Raudive were those of Churchill, Tolstoy, Hitler, Nietzsche, Kennedy, and Stalin. Most of the messages were extremely limited, and almost all of them confirmed the continuation of the life of the soul after the death of the physical body. “The dead continue to live, Konstantin”, “We are alive, Constantine” and “Please believe us” are typical examples of messages received by a Latvian psychologist.

In the 1970s, a student from England named David Ellis received a grant to study the voices recorded by Dr. Raudive. According to Ellis' conclusion, these recordings were not fake, but he suggested that Dr. Raudive may have created these voices in his imagination. David Ellis was unable to finally confirm the hypothesis that these were the voices of the spirits inhabiting the astral world, although this version seems to be very reliable.

In view of all the data considered, it is obvious that we have enough information to support the assumption that some part of the human individuality, or the human soul, continues to exist after the physical death of a person. There is also evidence that spirits may try to establish contact with people living on the earth plane. Such contact is possible, among other things, by recording the voices of the deceased on different media. On the other hand, there are cases when ordinary people who do not have deep knowledge in the field of paranormal phenomena have met the physical shell of a deceased person.

Some time ago in the town of Arecibo in Puerto Rico, a mysterious incident occurred. Arecibo is one of the many small villages scattered across the Caribbean, but its history is filled with sinister legends and amazing events. Even the surrounding area is famous for its uniqueness.

This village is bordered by a vast plain with karst landscapes. Their length is one of the largest in the world. In one of these natural funnels, Cornell University has built an observatory for the study of the ionosphere, with the help of which the world scientific community hopes to establish contact with aliens. The case I want to relate is the most impressive example of physical contact with a deceased person I know of. This is a true ghost story.

In one respected family of the town there was a daughter who, shortly before the events described, got married and lived with her husband. She was 25 at the time and worked in the nearby town of Aguadilla, about an hour's drive from Arecibo. Every morning she left for work by car, and returned around six in the evening. It rained one afternoon, and on the way back home she lost control, crashed into a tree on the side of the road and died instantly. Her death was a heavy blow to her parents and young husband. The house, once filled with happiness and joy, suddenly became quiet and sad.

A few months later, at about six in the evening, a taxi driver was driving along the highway between Aguadilla and Arecibo. He had few passengers that day. When he drew level with the place where the accident happened, he saw a young woman who appeared almost out of nowhere and waved her hand, asking him to stop. The taxi driver pulled up in the hope that, in the end, he would be able to earn some money. The girl got into a taxi and asked to take her to Arecibo. At first, the driver refused, because he did not want to go that far, but after being promised a good tip, he agreed to take her to the place she needed.

While they were driving, the girl was silent all the time, but when they drove into Arecibo, she told the driver that she lived in a large, beautiful house in a prestigious area of the city. Arriving at the house, the girl asked the taxi driver to wait until she went into the house and brought the money. The driver agreed to wait outside the house. He saw the girl climb the steps leading to the wide veranda and disappear inside the house.

Time passed, and the girl did not return. Finally, the driver lost patience and began to worry. Suspecting that he might be a victim of scammers, he decided to knock on the door of the house. A pale, sad young man opened him. The taxi driver told about what had happened and demanded that the girl be called and she paid him for the trip. When the young man replied that no one entered the house, the indignant driver was finally convinced that they wanted to cheat him and deprive him of the money he had earned, and began to threaten to contact the police.

Suddenly the young man turned pale even more and asked the taxi driver to enter the house and wait a few minutes. The mistrustful driver agreed, but asked not to stay for a long time. A few minutes later the man returned with a photograph of the girl and asked the taxi driver: "Tell me, is this the girl who asked to take her home?" “Yes, it’s her, I swear by my mother,” the driver replied. “This is my wife,” said the young man, “who died in a car accident six months ago.”

If Panchadasi is correct, the beings who appear in cases like the one above are in fact the astral bodies of recently deceased people. On the other hand, there are many examples of similar materialization of those who died many years ago. In accordance with traditional beliefs, the astral body of a person disintegrates within a few months or, in extreme cases, years after death.

If such stories are not fiction, then what or who makes the appearance of ghosts possible, and how does this happen? Are we really dealing with the soul of a deceased person? And how, in the case of Arecibo, did the spirit manage to recreate and materialize the appearance, voice and manner of conversation of the deceased girl?

If the spirits inhabiting the Subtle World can establish contact with our material world, it is also possible that these beings are able to influence our thoughts and actions. This assumption will surely greatly upset those who want to have complete control of their lives. In addition, such an influence can be both positive and negative, depending on the level of development of a particular spirit.

For this reason, most religious and mystical schools teach that at the moment of making an important decision, we must make sure that it is really our decision, which is in accordance with personal beliefs. At the same time, one should avoid impulsive actions that may be dictated by the influence of the entities of the Astral world.

So, based on studied scientific evidence and paranormal activity, we can assume.

It is very likely that after the death of a person the instincts and emotions that make up his astral body continue to exist for some time along with memories and basic personality traits. Over time, this astral body is destroyed. Meanwhile, a conscious person, or ego, called the soul (spirit), rests for some time in the Subtle World, and then moves to the corresponding mental or astral plane, depending on the level of its development.

There the soul lives, works, sometimes creating works of art, similar to those that he created during his earthly life. Sometimes these works appear in the material world thanks to people who become objects of direct influence from the spirit. An example of this impact is the case of Rosemary Brown.

Having awakened from sleep and rest, the soul, if desired, can descend from the mental or astral plane to the lower levels of being, including the physical world. In the astral world, life seems as real as in our world, because any physical or spiritual being identifies itself with the plane on which it dwells.

The mysterious and incomprehensible Subtle World is revealed to us in all its splendor in dreams. This is why the phantasmagoric world of dreams seems so real when we sleep. We simply travel with the help of our subtle body in the astral world, to which our soul belongs. In a state of sleep, we move between the sub-planes of the Subtle World, experiencing joyful or frightening experiences.

Only lucid dreams help to understand that we are sleeping and are able to modify the circumstances or events of the astral world at will.

According to ancient teachings, the life of the spirit in the Astral is true life, while earthly life is only a theater, training, a temporary state, a kind of journey into which the soul goes for a certain period of time, at the end of which it returns to its home, to the Subtle World. …
