Thirteen years ago, a great misfortune happened - my husband Alexander died. His death came as a complete surprise to everyone. It happened just before the New Year - December 30.
The frosts reached -40 degrees. But what to do, we must bury. We hired a tractor to dig the grave, as the ground was frozen very deep. It was impossible to dig the hole by hand.
Alexander was buried in accordance with all Christian traditions. And somewhere in the middle of March I have a dream. Alexander came to me and is trying to say something. At the same time, his head was very deformed. The impression was that it was squeezed from below and from above. Of course, an eerie sight. What he wanted to tell me, I did not understand. I only remember that the deceased, judging by his gestures, was complaining about something.
In the morning, waking up, I remembered all the details of the dream, and I felt uneasy. I walked and suffered all day. What does it mean? But no explanation came to mind. And in the evening I happened to meet a good friend of our family. He said that he was with his wife at the cemetery yesterday. The couple approached my husband's grave. They saw that the ground after the spring thaw had subsided very much, almost collapsed. I immediately remembered my dream.
It turns out that Alexander came to tell me that the grave had failed, to complain how hard it was for him. But how could I have guessed? Of course, right after that I put the grave in order, but until now I often remember my prophetic dream. It turns out that the souls of our loved ones continue to exist in the other world.

Our ancestors had a very negative attitude towards dreams about the dead and even believed that the dead could disturb the living in physical form. There was even a tradition to bind the legs of the deceased so that he “did not come”. But is it necessary to succumb to superstitious fear or, on the contrary, is it worth listening to the message of those who are “on the other side of life”?
Deceased relatives can visit us in dreams for many reasons. Sometimes they want to warn us about a possible misfortune or to provide some information that they did not have time to share during their lifetime. In my practice, there was a case when a deceased wanted to point out to his family members a piece of will left in a hiding place.
Sometimes the deceased actually makes a request (for example, to order a prayer service for the deceased) - most often this happens on the 7th or 40th day after the funeral. Such a request must be fulfilled so that the soul of a deceased relative finds peace.
