Residents of the city of Donji Milanovac, located on the banks of the Danube in Eastern Serbia, observed a group of mysterious bright UFOs on July 22, 2017 (see video below).
Five flashing objects suddenly appeared over the city at about 10 pm. Arranged in a triangle, they slowly moved in one part of the night sky, and then extinguished one by one.
The one-minute video, which a local resident named Dragan Vasik filmed with his mobile phone and posted on YouTube, received several responses.
“These are Chinese air lanterns! You can buy them at any Chinese store,”suggested one viewer, who believes that gusts of wind blow up the lights.
“It was the Russians who just launched a new satellite, dubbed 'the brightest star in the sky,' which is supposed to unfold a huge pyramid of foil,” another YouTube user has a more powerful version. “We are surrounded by many satellites, new and old, that we are not even aware of.”
An eyewitness of the exact same phenomenon left his comments under the video: "I saw something like this a year ago, but I don't know what it was?"
