Experts from Indiana University (USA) stated that bad mood and stress negatively affect a person's life expectancy. Scientists came to such conclusions after conducting an interesting experiment.
In order to establish the relationship between bad mood and life expectancy, experts deliberately introduced the volunteers of the experiment into a stressful state. After the goal was achieved, they collected data on the activity of the participants' enzymes and engaged in their further analysis. It turned out that when mood worsened, a person began to feel much worse physically. Feeling unwell was associated with the acceleration of the work of the whole body, as is the case with the release of large amounts of adrenaline.
A strong acceleration subsequently leads to wear and tear of the body, experts say. In order to avoid this, it is necessary to develop an immunity to stressful situations. The hormone mianserin, obtained by a person in moments of intense joy, is able to stabilize the work of the cardiovascular system and improve the nervous system.
