Back in the days of the Soviet Union, Russian submarine commanders were faced with inexplicable underwater phenomena. Documents with information about meetings with so-called unidentified underwater objects are still classified as "secret".
But some details of encounters with deep sea creatures and unexplained huge objects still leaked to the media. The information received reveals shocking information about what is happening in depth.
Ufologists Paul Stonehill and Philip Mantle uncover the history of the classified conflict in their new book. Researchers believe that the Russian government tried to hide the truth, passing off the testimony of those who are trying to tell about what is really happening deep under water as silly fantasies.
Stonehill and Mantle argue that humans have already encountered both new life forms and entire unidentified ships thrown into the sea.

Philip Mantle claims that even during the Soviet era, many Russian sailors witnessed the emergence of NGOs (unidentified underwater objects). However, as soon as these people tried to tell the public about what they saw, they immediately became a target for all sorts of jokes and ridicule. Unknown creatures, which are also called "Swimmers", are perhaps the most amazing. These creatures are humanoids about 3 meters tall. They live at a depth of 50 meters, in the icy waters of the oceans and seas near Siberia.
According to Stonehill and Mantle, one of the commanders of the Russian submarine fleet, Major General Demyanenko, warned his crew about possible encounters with incredible creatures, because this had already happened in 1982.
There is also information that Soviet military divers tried to catch one of the creatures, which was allegedly wearing a silver suit and helmet. However, the operation could not be completed: as soon as the members of the expedition took out the nets to catch a creature unknown to science, the entire team of seven people was thrown to the surface by some incredible force.

There are other known cases of collisions with unidentified objects. So, in 1965, across the Red Sea, the team of the Soviet steamer "Raduga", which was crossing the Red Sea at that time, witnessed a huge fireball that appeared from the ocean and hovered in the air at an altitude of about 150 meters. However, it is difficult to say that the ball just floated in the air, because it was, as it were, inside a column of water. After a while, the ball sank back into the water.
But the stories don't end there either.
Russian Admiral V. A. Domislovsky, head of the Pacific intelligence service, claims to have seen a certain object hovering over the waters of the Pacific Ocean. The object was about 900 meters long. At some point, small parts began to separate from it, which, plunging into the ocean, soon returned to their places. After that, the object disappeared from the team's field of view.
Rear Admiral and Nuclear Submarine Commander Yuri Beketov claims that he has repeatedly witnessed unexplained activity in the waters of the Bermuda Triangle. The radars of his submarine have repeatedly recorded unknown objects that moved under water at a speed of 250 miles per hour.

In his interview with the British edition of The Mirror, Mantle said that the Soviet government deliberately concealed information about meetings with unidentified waterfowl. Mantle believes that all Soviet officers who met with such objects were simply forced to remain silent, otherwise they would have received a stream of ridicule from the public and the press.
“But despite all the efforts of government agencies, information about NGOs still leaked to the media,” says Mantle. “No matter how hard the Soviet special services tried, the objects unknown to us did not disappear anywhere. Our knowledge of the depths of the seas, oceans and even lakes is extremely limited - as they say, we know more about the surface of the moon than about the deep-sea life of our own planet."
