In September 2002, something unusual happened to a certain George Price on the Salisbury Plain (England). This case was later described by British anomalous researcher Merrily Harpur in her 2006 book Mystery big cats.

Price was a soldier, and a military exercise involving tanks was taking place on the plain that fall. Suddenly, Price's attention was drawn to a large ape-like creature that was trying to hide in a thorny bush and looked very frightened by the noise of engines and the rumble of military equipment.

It is noteworthy that the Salisbury Plain is primarily famous for its ancient stone structures, especially Stonehenge. And the earliest traces of human activity found here are dated back to 8 thousand years BC.

The date of the construction of Stonehenge is not exactly established; it was approximately built about 5 thousand years ago. It was a very special structure for those who built it, because some of the huge boulders for it, the so-called blue stones, were brought to this place from a quarry in Wales, which is already 240 miles away. Other stones were brought from a little closer, "just" 25 miles away.

It was an incredibly large-scale and complex operation, but for what purposes it is still not known exactly.

On the border of the other British counties of Oskfordshire and Warwickshire, there is another grandiose stone structure in the form of a circle called the Rollright Stones. It was built around the 4th millennium BC.

In 1977, researcher Paul Devereaux stated that some British historic sites emanate a special energy and have unusual powers. Infrared, magnetic and ultrasonic anomalies have been found in these locations.

The same Devereaux told of the case when one of the archaeologists who studied the Rollright Stones noticed a wandering humanoid creature completely covered with hair nearby. The archaeologist saw the creature for only a couple of moments, and then it suddenly disappeared somewhere.

It seems that the description of the creature, in all its appearance resembling a typical yeti, was seen in November 1991 in the area of the Ladybower reservoir, which in turn is located near another ancient stone circle called the Nine Ladies.

This circle was built in the Bronze Age in a place that, according to legend, is a clearing of the Druids, where they celebrated the summer solstice. It still attracts the attention of many neo-pagans and modern druids.

The question arises: is there any connection between the appearance of humanoid hairy monsters in the area of ancient stone circles with unusual powers?

Perhaps the answer lies in the legends of the North American Indians. American researcher Linda Godfrey, who studies cases of observation of Bigfoots, werewolves and Dogmen, says that she talked with the Indians and they told her that all these unusual zoomorphic (beast-like) creatures exist in reality.

According to the Indians, these creatures are none other than the guardian spirits of sacred places. According to Linda Godfrey, there is probably a grain of truth in the words of the Indians, since she herself discovered that the places of observation of the wolf people very often coincide with the location of the ancient Indian mounds.

It is possible that some hairy monsters, like the same American wolf people, were created by the tulpa method - that is, they are a quasi-material product of human consciousness. They were probably programmed to guard certain places and scare people away from there, which they still try to do.
