It shows how thousands of giant skeletons were discovered near Mount Builder and elsewhere across the continent, only to disappear from history forever. He examines other unknown discoveries associated with giants, such as the giant mummies found in the Spirit Cave, Nevada, wrapped in fine cloth and dating from 8000 BC; hundreds of red-haired swamp mummies found in sinkholes ("cenotes") on the west coast of Florida and dating back to 7500 BC, ruins of giant cities with populations over 100,000 in Arizona, Oklahoma, Alabama and Louisiana.
Dewhurst reveals that this suppression began shortly after the end of the Civil War and turned into an outright cover-up in 1879 when Major John Wesley Powell was named director of the Smithsonian Institution. It also shows a 1920s discovery on Catalina Island, a megalithic burial complex. It has been here since 6000 BC. burials took place continuously and over 4,000 skeletons were found, including the successors of kings and queens, some of which were over 9 feet (about 2.7 m) high. The evidence base for these finds is hidden by limiting actual access to rooms at the Smithsonian Museum Complex.
