The German word "felsenmeer" is not only difficult to pronounce for us, but also not very clear in meaning in translation - "sea of stone". Can the sea be stone? However, the most striking attraction of the Odenwald nature reserve in Germany in the form of numerous and rather mysterious boulders, as if “flowing down” from the mountain, is called “Felsenmeer”, although if you make some comparisons, it looks more like a stone river.
The boulders of this stone river are interesting not only in color, but also in shape, some of them are clearly of artificial origin, since they have traces of machine processing. Why machine? The fact is that all these "stones" are diorite, which can only be processed with diamond. But tell me, how could ancient people give the shapes they needed to these fantastically hard stones, without at least modern technology? It is enough to look at the column, which is right there next to this stone stream in the forest: who managed to create it? It is believed that the ancient Romans did it. But, firstly, Rome of that period did not have such a technology for processing diorite, and secondly, independent historians generally question the existence of Ancient Rome. It turns out that nobody knows who, when and how processed these diorite stones.
But let's pay attention to the translation of the name of the reserve, where this stone river "flows". “Odenwald” is “Odin's forest”, and Odin is a Scandinavian god, majestic and mighty, wielding the magic weapon Gungir, which spewed lightning. We can find something similar in Indian mythology - the lightning vajra. According to the biblical legend, Moses had the same fantastic rod. It turns out a very interesting picture: the gods are different, and their weapons, in general, are the same, as well as the ability to perform miracles on Earth. Descending from the sky, they remind us very much of the omnipotent aliens today, don't they?
