Inhabitants of the northwest [of Tasmania] report a fall on the coast of either a comet or a meteorite. The approximate time of the fall is 20:30.

Sergeant Rebecca Salman of the Tasmania Police Office said they had already received a significant number of calls about the outbreak and explosion.

"From what the police were able to figure out, it looks like it was a meteorite," Sgt. Salman said, after which she added that: "We have not had any reports of injuries or injuries."

Sgt Salman says police have already contacted all airports, the Bureau of Meteorology and the Astronomical Society for more information, but have not yet received confirmation.

While the glorious astronomers of glorious Tasmania scratch their enlightened heads over the incident, let us note our humble opinion about this “meteorite” regarding the situation.

Upon entering the atmosphere, this "meteorite" burned with a bright turquoise color, which is very characteristic of all meteorites falling to Earth in the past few months:

Then the “meteorite” suddenly turned yellow, illuminating everything around with this rich light:

Then the “meteorite” turned green back, which does not happen with real meteorites. The color of the plume and explosion is given by certain impurities, usually metals, as a result of which meteorites burn either bright red (usually stone), bright blue, or green. But so that the meteorite jumped across the entire spectrum - this does not happen.

Hence, we believe that metal, for example, the casing, burned turquoise in the “meteorite”, then something on board detonated with a bright yellow flash, accompanied by a far-off audible thunder, after which only metal burned again.

What kind of “meteorite” it was, being very far from Tasmania, we do not know at all, but we suspect that soon there will be quite a lot of the same “meteorites”, so we are following the development of events.
