New Mexico police arrested a teenager for stealing a model alien ship from the Roswell UFO Museum. The Associated Press reports.

A fiberglass and metal UFO model stood in downtown Roswell, but was transported to the museum after being damaged by a blizzard. The theft itself took place on March 19.

Thanks to the surveillance camera recording, the police found out that three criminals had taken the model away in a pickup truck. The ruined model was found in the vicinity of Roswell four days after the theft.

For involvement in the crime, a local teenager was arrested, whose name was not disclosed. Two of his alleged accomplices remain on the wanted list.

The town of Roswell became famous for an incident that happened in 1947. Many fragments of an unknown vehicle and even several bodies were allegedly found near the local military base. One explanation suggests that a UFO with several pilots crashed near Roswell, but the military hid all evidence.
