Video: UFO sighting? Strange objects dart across B.C. night sky 2024, September

The Charlie Redstar Flap is one of the best documented UFO sightings in Canadian history. The events of 1975 -1976 are great and entertaining reading. I think you will like the information below, it has everything you can imagine, multiple Witness groups, drunk teenagers, news crews filming UFOs, radioactive soil, possible crop circles, crafts of different shapes, sizes, colors and more other.

Charlie Redstar was the name given to some of the UFOs spotted in Manitoba in 1975-1976, many of which were located near the city of Pocket, Manitoba. It has been described as a red ball of fire, sometimes stationary and sometimes rapidly receding, and similar fireballs have also been called Charlie's "friends" and "cousins". Other similar UFOs have been recorded as flying saucers or Ferris wheel.

UFO sightings

February 1975, north of Lundar, Manitoba - a farmer walking toward his barn saw a basketball-sized light sweep over him. When he looked up, he felt as if hot plastic had spilled on his face.

2 March 7, 1975, near Graceville, Manitoba - at 2 am, a young girl is awakened by a shrill siren-like pulsing sound and a tremor-like earthquake. She saw a red ball of light, as bright as the sun, streaking south.

On April 10, 1975, near Carmen Manitoba - The Diemert couple were walking towards their private airfield when they saw a large red slow moving light hovering in the tree line. They saw a disc-shaped object with a dome attached to it. Then he turned the other way and disappeared five minutes later.

Starting on May 7 of the same year, the same couple saw the object every night for several months. During the summer, many others came to their field to see UFOs, observing incredibly rapid changes in direction.

On May 9, a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) constable was called to their farm to see the UFO. He reported that the object was approximately 1,000 feet (300 m) above sea level. He described it as an oval red light surrounded by a white halo. When he followed him in his car, he appeared motionless for about two to three minutes and then began to move away. The object behaved in much the same way as the plane descending into Winnipeg.

On May 11-14, Diemerts contacted CKY-TV to send their television crews to film the facility. On the 11th nothing of interest was seen, but on the 12th a “light at the end of the road” (later) was seen appearing as a stationary light that escaped as it approached. On the 13th, at about 11:30 pm north, light was seen rising above the trees to the west, then moving slowly and disappearing incredibly quickly. It was smoky red and was estimated to be 50 feet (15 m) high and 20 feet (6.1 m) thick.

Another group saw him hovering behind the trees, looking like a blood-red moon. He climbed up and then suddenly rushed east. Another group caught Charlie on film, showing a red light near the ground, increasing in apparent size, and then disappearing into the sky. Another group captured an object bouncing up and down. Some of the films have been reviewed by experts. Radioactive soil has also been found alongside some observations.

On May 16, 1975, near Stephenfield, Manitoba - three drunken young men were at a party north of the Boyne River when one of them saw a motionless red light the size of the moon. Ten minutes later, he illuminated the lake with a white spotlight. The underwater object sparkled under a beam that made the bottom of the lake visible, and then moved towards the shore, creating ripples. One young man threw a stone at the object, which shattered into four pieces, then split and moved towards the beam of light. The light went out, then it was observed that the hovering object split in half, and the halves moved away from each other in opposite directions. Although they confessed that they were drunk, hallucinations seemed unlikely as they each saw the same event.

On June 4, 1975, north of Saint-Claude, a Manitoba farmer saw a flying saucer with two domes made of glassy material. The top of the vessel was silvery in color, while the bottom was described as a fish that looked like milky white. He tried to leave the area, but his truck was unable to start.

July 1, 1975, west of Roland, Manitoba - Three people saw a strange object moving towards them in a swinging motion. The UFO shone bright light onto a grain elevator, bright enough to make it visible. It was about 85 feet (26 m) across and perfectly round.
