Ufologists believe: the object was abandoned by aliens
A sphere with a diameter of about 100 meters was discovered by virtual archaeologists - they spotted it in the image https://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/catalog/PIA21563, transmitted by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). It has a high definition camera (HiRISE), which takes pictures of excellent quality. NASA posts them on its website, giving enthusiasts the opportunity to scrutinize the fine details of the landscape, looking for anything anomalous.
The sphere looks like a man-made one. Located in a place called Uzboi Vallis. The terrain is gray, the sphere is white. That is, it clearly stands out from the surrounding background. Therefore, the assumption that the object was built by aliens - some Anunnaki who have been on Mars, does not look completely unfounded. It is possible that they are still there.

The purpose of the sphere is, of course, mysterious. It can be a repeater, a hangar, or a base in general. Unless, of course, it is just a Martian rock from some light rock.
But here's what is strange: on Phobos, a satellite of Mars, there is about the same tower as on the planet itself, but more famous, which is called "monolith". It is located on the side facing Mars.
The legendary astronaut Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin, the man who was the second to set foot on the lunar surface back in 1969, liked to talk about the "monolith". According to him, it is enough to look at the photo of this "monolith" to make sure that someone put it here on purpose.

Efrain Palermo and Len Fleming, the ancestors of modern virtual archaeologists, were the first to notice the mysterious object protruding from Phobos. We saw it in 1998 on the images of the satellite of Mars (SPS252603 and SPS252603), which were transmitted by the Mars Global Surveyor probe.
Palermo and Fleming were the first to call the monolith a "monolith" and determine that it is about 76 meters high.
There was an opportunity to understand. Ufologists pinned their hopes on the Phobos-Grunt mission, within which a landing on the Mars satellite was planned. We thought that if the probe didn’t sit nearby, it would at least photograph the object at close range. But it didn’t happen. Phobos-Grunt never flew away from the Earth.

The structures, very similar to watchtowers, were discovered by a virtual archaeologist hiding under the nickname Mundodesconocido. I saw them in the images of the Google Mars Map Free edition. Three towers stretch out in one line, stand at the same distance from each other. Which is strange for natural objects.
