The land of the pharaohs more than once surprised us with inexplicable artifacts, which today make many people struggle to unravel their designation and purpose, but mysterious artifacts are found not only in Egypt and direct evidence of this is the "Colombian golden airplane", or as it is also called - "golden bird Inca ".

The Golden Bird is a small object measuring four centimeters in size found in Colombia in the 19th century and dating from the middle of the first millennium AD. It is most likely that this item was used as an amulet or pendant. Today in the world there are several dozen of such items that were found not only in Colombia, but also not in Venezuela, Costa Rica and Peru. They look a little different from each other, but the basic design of the aircraft with horizontal and vertical tail fin unites all these artifacts.

For a long time, many people looked at the golden figurines exhibited in the Gold Museum at the State Bank of Columbia, as well as during various exhibitions "Treasures of Columbia" held in different parts of the planet, but no one imagined that they could be models of flying vehicles. And this is not surprising, because all these artifacts were listed in the catalog as "zoomorphic", as they had the appearance of living creatures with eyes, teeth, scales carved on the body and other attributes of living creatures, therefore, they were all associated with outlandish animals that could die out a few hundred years ago, but not with airplanes.

The first to notice the striking resemblance of the golden Inca bird to an aircraft was the American jeweler Emanuel Staub. To rule out the possibility that the figurine is a copy of some animal, Staub sent an exact copy of the "Columbia Golden Airplane" to his friend, the famous zoologist Ivan Sanderson. After a detailed examination of the artifact, Sanderson realized that he did not know a single living creature similar to the figurine sent to him, and in order to test the theory about the aircraft, he submitted it for analysis to several aviation experts, who confirmed that the figurine could well be a model of an aircraft.

They were found in the graves of Indian leaders. It is assumed that during the lifetime of the owners, these items were used as breast ornaments or amulets.

Due to the presence of organic remains in the burials, amenable to radiocarbon dating, the time of making winged amulets is known with sufficient accuracy - about 500 AD. The authors of these masterpieces were the masters of the Indian culture of Tolima, who lived on the territory of what is now Colombia, in the middle reaches of the Magdalena River. However, the creations of their hands were found far beyond the named region. For example, the Berlin Museum of Ethnography contains an airplane found in Costa Rica. The discovery of similar gold items has been reported in Venezuela and Peru.

In total, 33 such items have been found to date, and they have been found not only in Colombia, but also in Peru, Costa Rica, Venezuela. Their appearance is different, but the basic design of the aircraft with horizontal and vertical tail fin is common. Artists gave their products the appearance of living creatures with eyes, toothy jaws, some covered with a notch in the form of scales. So, maybe this is the prototype of some long-extinct animal? However, experts fully agree with the conclusion of the US biologist Ivan Sanderson: they can in no way be identified with any of the representatives of both the fossil and modern fauna of the planet known to science.

In the figure of the "golden airplane" modern aviation experts saw:

a) a model aerospace aircraft with a reclining cockpit;

b) a model of a single-use cargo aircraft for landing on water;

c) a model of a "subaquaplane" - an underwater aircraft.

A number of other technical versions have also been put forward that can arise only in the heads of narrow specialists. But, in general, the plane in this golden craft was seen much earlier. The story is fantastic.

On the Internet, you can find the following story: in 1956, the "golden airplane" was exhibited among other exhibits at the "Gold of Pre-Columbian America" exhibition held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The deltoid wing of this figurine and the vertical plane of the tail (which never happens in birds) attracted the attention of American aircraft designers. By agreement with the exhibition management, they were allowed to conduct research on the ancient "airplane" in a wind tunnel. And then it turned out that the golden "Inca bird" behaves best of all at … supersonic speeds, the study of which was in full swing. The figurine was returned to the museum, and the deltoid wing and the high vertical plane of the tail unit migrated to the Lockheed aircraft design bureau, which soon created a supersonic aircraft.being the best in the world at that time …

Modern supersonic aircraft are exactly the shape of ancient figures. These figures, made in the form of airplanes, were created about 1,500 years ago. Nobody was able to solve their riddle - what served as models for such works of art.

On the territory of modern Peru, where the powerful Inca empire once existed, the mysterious Pampa Colorada (Red Desert) lies 500 km from the Pacific coast on the Nazca high plateau. On this flat, like a table, plateau, back in the 30s of the XX century, pilots discovered dozens of sections of a rocky surface smooth, like a concrete highway, with a length ranging from several hundred meters and so on up to several kilometers. All of them very much resembled the runways of modern airfields. This is beautifully shown in Erich von Deniken's documentary "Memories of the Future" (and described in the book of the same name). Between these stripes, on an area of hundreds of square kilometers, there are gigantic drawings of familiar birds, animals, interspersed with strange animals, insects, plants … But the most important thing is thatthat both the runways and the drawings can only be seen from the air!

It was then, in the early 1930s, that Robert Shippi, at the head of a small detachment of American amateur pilots, took tens of thousands of photographs of pre-Columbian monuments. Giant drawings of animals appear under the wing of the aircraft: a multi-meter iguana, a 120-meter bird, a 200-meter lizard, a giant monkey and many others. It was an incredible sight!

Less than 10 years later, another scientist decided to look at the works of the ancient Peruvians from an airplane. It was Paul Kosok. Once in the south, he ended up in Pampa de Nazca, where he discovered a gigantic art gallery. Yellowish-white trapezoids, triangles and rectangles, often hundreds and hundreds of meters long, stood out on the dark red surface of the plateaus. Sometimes infinitely long stripes stretched along the Pampa de Nazca, converging at certain points and then diverging again. In the midst of the seeming chaos of lines, giant animal designs were scattered.

When Kosok posted his discovery message, to which he attached dozens of high-quality aerial photographs, the world did not believe him. In addition, the Second World War was going on, and humanity had completely different concerns. The second time they were discovered by Erich von Deniken in the book "Memories of the Future" (1968), which, unlike Kosok's scholarly articles, was avidly read by the whole world. In it, he wondered if the giant lines in the country of the Indians, who did not know the wheel, and even more so the airplane, were runways for astronauts. Is this "art gallery" connected with aliens and extraterrestrial civilizations? For almost a quarter of a century, only one person was engaged in the local drawings. It was Maria Reiche, who came to Peru from Germany. After settling in Lima, she was one of the first to hear from Professor Kosok about his incredible discovery. This message interested her so much that since then she has focused all her attention on this vast space.

But since these drawings are simply not visible from the ground, then a natural question arises: "Could the ancient inhabitants of the Cordillera, the Incas, be able to fly?" Here it is appropriate to recall the ancient legend of the Incas, which speaks of the "golden ship" that arrived from distant stars: “It was commanded by a woman named Oryana. She was destined to become the foremother of the earthly race. Oryana gave birth to seventy earthly children, and then returned to the stars."

Add to this the conclusion of the English anthropological journal Maine, which says: “Analysis of the muscle tissue of the surviving Inca mummies showed that the composition of the blood of the Incas was very different from the local population. They had a blood group of the rarest combination. In our time, this blood composition is known only in 2-3 people all over the world."

Mass interest in the mysterious artifacts arose in late 1969, after Sanders published an article about the ancient airplane in Argosy magazine. The article created a real sensation and caused a lot of controversy around the mysterious gold figurines. But in 1996, German aircraft modellers from the small town of Lehr, Algund Enbom and Peter Belting, proved in practice that the hypothesis of aircraft models in the form of mysterious animal figures has a right to life. These two aircraft modelers created 16x magnified, nearly accurate, proportionally-shaped replicas of the Columbia Golden Airplane and another gold figurine that they believed most closely resembled an airplane. For launch into the air, the models were equipped with motors and radio control systems.

The first test of airplanes was watched by a huge number of people, among whom were scientists from various fields of science and many skeptics who did not believe that copies of the figures could fly. But what was their surprise when two models not only were able to take off, but also perfectly performed aerobatics (kick, loop), and also glided perfectly even with the engines turned off.

After this experiment, many aircraft modelers began to create aircraft models of certain golden figures and in April 1996 at the German Society for Aviation and Astronautics, massive demonstration performances of the assembled aircraft took place. The scientists, aircraft designers, pilots and engineers present at the speech, after seeing the flights, had no doubts that the "golden Inca planes" were copies of flying machines.

Of course, no one today is able to answer the question of where exactly the ancient Incas took images for their unusual products, but one thing is for sure that not only the Incas made figurines that looked like flying machines, there are a lot of such artifacts and they were all found in different parts of our planet. Take, for example, the secret of the SABU disk or the “Sakkar bird” found in Egypt, which is also surprisingly similar to a model airplane and which I will tell you about a little later. Whatever it was, these artifacts suggest a completely different story of our ancestors, a story that is still so difficult for us to believe.
