In May 1995, Jim Sparks, a 41-year-old landowner from a small town in Northern California, had an incredible experience. Jim told about him to Linda Moulton Howe, an American journalist and writer, ufologist, researcher of anomalous phenomena. Here is Jim's story on her tape.
It all started at about 3:30 am. I was awakened by a low buzzing sound. At the same time, my stomach sucked in, my heart was beating faster, and my head was pounding. The buzz soon turned into a howl, and the sound became deafeningly loud. It was as if I was paralyzed, I fell into a semi-faint state. And suddenly I felt myself rise above the bed, saw that I was approaching the wall, which becomes transparent, disappears, and I "float" through it. At this point my consciousness was completely switched off.
When I woke up, I saw that I was 35 meters above the ground and slowly sinking down. Below me was an abandoned amusement park. I flew over the big Russian hills,”and I was not afraid. I felt calm and relaxed, and the flight even gave me pleasure.
Soon I was seven or eight meters from the ground, my body took an upright position and began to swing like a pendulum. Then I saw the outlines of about a dozen large creatures standing in a semicircle. And although it was not yet dawn, I considered: they were humanoid, only very large. At some point, I lost consciousness again.
In the circle of aliens
When I regained consciousness, I found myself standing among twelve humanoids, located on the ground in an almost vicious circle. Their height reached two meters, and they all looked at one who stood to my left.
The only source of light was the alien's face, which resembles a brightly glowing hologram of a human face superimposed on his physiognomy. Probably, this was done in order to hide his true appearance from me. But when the alien opened his mouth, no sounds were heard, and the voice I perceived telepathically did not match the movement of the lips.

During the communication, I realized that each of the humanoids, apparently, broadcast their thoughts to the leader - the one with a luminous face. It turned out that they had a common mind, and that's what he conveyed to me.
Fears for the fate of the Earth
- There are several things that you, the people of Earth, need to understand. We are in contact with your governments and the leadership of the security forces. Certain agreements have been reached between us, which are kept secret from the rest. We have contacted your leaders because your planet is in mortal danger. Your leaders said that the majority of the population is not yet ready to meet creatures like us, so we agreed not to reveal ourselves yet.
We also agreed that you will take measures to improve the state of the environment on your planet, taking into account our advice and using our technologies. But your government has violated this agreement.
The newcomer was silent, there was a pause.
- So you completely lost faith in us? I asked.
- Not. We are now focusing on common people. Your air and water are poisoned, plants are dying. There are several breaks in your power circuit. People have a lot of nuclear and biological weapons, which leads to radiation and environmental pollution of the planet. The earth is overpopulated. You are almost at the breaking point. There are other ways to meet food and energy needs without causing any damage to the environment. Those in power have the opportunity to start applying these methods around the world.
- Why don't they do it? I asked.
“Those in power see this technology as a security threat.
Then I got angry and exclaimed in my hearts:
- So you want to say that people in our governments could save our planet, but they are not doing anything for this ?!
- We need a complete amnesty. For those who committed wrong actions while in power, and for those who hid the truth. This is the only way to enable leaders to reveal the truth to people. And this must be done in order to act together and survive.
The last words were a bitter pill for me. I knew that most abductors are considered dreamers and ridiculed. Often they are simply declared crazy. But the time has come when reason must prevail over emotions. And I asked:
- And how do I and people like me fit into all this? What could we do?
- What you are already doing. We will share a wealth of knowledge with you in the future. While you already understand a lot, we will show you much more. Keep working with people who come to you with questions and suggestions. They are ready to learn and we consider them to be the foundation. The most important thing is the state of your planet. As our conversation continued, it began to rain. But the aliens not only did not try to hide from him, they did not even move. And they didn’t have to do this - and they did. and I stayed completely dry. Not a single drop fell on us. I think we were protected by some kind of energy field.
Parting
Then the aliens said:
- It is time.
At that moment, a thought flashed through my mind: “Wait, please! I need to ask you something. I want to see what you look like *.
I will not forget their answer while I live:
- That. what you see will fill your heart with fear.

Now I understand how stupid my request was. Before me stood aliens from the distant depths of the Galaxy, apparently belonging to the number of the most advanced intelligent beings. They knew the answers to questions that have tormented humanity since time immemorial. What did I ask them for? - Wave your hand to me! -
Then something strange began. A swirling greenish glow appeared in front of all the aliens. The light gradually grew brighter, and I saw that they were real giants with a well-developed body, powerful shoulders and a thick, muscular neck. As the form of the humanoids loomed more and more clearly, fear really began to grip me.
They are reptoids
- So you are covered with scales! - I could not resist, I exclaimed. Large heads of humanoids resembled snakes. The skull of every alien was shaped like that. the brain seemed to bulge out of him and hang over his forehead, covered with folded skin. Small - like ours - diamond-shaped eyes had red pupils. All the aliens raised their hands up and waved to me. Their hands were large, strong, with thickened fingers at the ends, which are hardly suitable for working with thin devices. But they probably control their technique by means of commands issued mentally.
For some time I stood and looked at them in silence, fascinated by the spectacular, colorful sight. The appearance of these reptoids suggested that perhaps the mention of the serpent in the descriptions of Enoch's adventures contained in the Dead Sea Scrolls and the biblical Book of Genesis is associated with such creatures.
Comprehending
Their message sounded in my mind. Now I was sure that our country had already contacted aliens. Most Americans believe that they are carefully concealing this from them. But what really excited me was their words about the dire state of our planet! Then I felt that I was being pulled somewhere with increasing acceleration, and the next moment I passed out …
After this meeting, I understand their intentions better. For us, they are neither well-wishers nor enemies. I think aliens have been secretly among us for thousands of years, maybe longer. But the reason why they are here is important. I'm sure they are raising us as raw materials. We, humans, are a self-reproducing natural product that does not require much maintenance and still continues to multiply, despite all the problems that exist on Earth. Thank God, the humanoids don't kill us, they just use us. However, now there are problems, and their capital investment is under threat, aliens. They spent a lot of time getting here, and a lot of effort to - cultivate - us. Now we are on an almost irreversible path of self-destruction.
