A man walking his dog in Brisbane National Park, New South Wales, Australia has discovered over 250 interesting stone carvings carved into the rock. It would seem that it is special, but these were Egyptian hieroglyphs 5,000 years ago. How they came to the other end of the world, and who cut them out - researchers cannot answer even today.
The set of Egyptian hieroglyphs found in Australia is a disadvantage for those skeptical about the travels of ancient civilizations further than it seems possible. If ancient Egyptians could travel to Australia, what else are they capable of?
The Kariong hieroglyphs (named for their location) are a collection of carved symbols inside a narrow rocky crevice.
According to information provided by the media, there are only a few scientists on Earth who can actually read and translate this ancient writing scheme, thereby making hieroglyphs more valuable to world history.
There is another side to discovery
One group of archaeologists and researchers has declared the find a modern fake, having nothing to do with ancient Egypt. However, another group of scholars believes that modern archeology clearly disagrees with the authenticity of the hieroglyphs, since they can change the usual view of ancient history.

The renowned archaeologist Ray Johnson allegedly translated the hieroglyphs for the Cairo Museum of Antiquities and successfully conducted proper research, proving that they were from Dynasty III (approximately 2500 BC). It is a well-known archaic form of Egyptian writing that is very similar to the ancient Sumerian script.
Professor Nageb Kanaviati of the Egyptology Department also studied the photographs taken in the National Park. Some of the letters do have Egyptian characters, he said, but the letter itself is a meaningless collection of words and drawings, probably made by amateurs.
Of course, there are skeptics who never acknowledge the fact that Egyptian hieroglyphs originated in Australia 5,000 years ago. However, there are historical records that indicate that the Egyptians had the opportunity for ocean travel to other continents.
As with any story, there are two sides. Some scholars support the theory of Egyptian hieroglyphs, while others believe that this is a real fake. Once again, we have to make a conclusion ourselves whether this is true or not, relying on our own knowledge and inner beliefs.
