The military encounters the paranormal on a regular basis. And they also regularly try to silence them. Charter, discipline and all that … To restore the picture of anomalous cases, as a rule, eyewitness accounts help to restore the picture, who talk about their impressions in great secrecy. The facts they cited can be treated in different ways. But it is worth considering that the witnesses are people who, due to their duty, are forbidden to fantasize.
"Greetings from the Past" from Baron Ungern
Inexplicable cases were recorded recently in a rifle battalion near Khabarovsk. While on duty in the company, Captain K. ordered to rearrange the furniture in the room where he usually rested. At night he dreamed that a shaggy dog was jumping on his chest and starting to choke. The officer got up, turned on the light, calmed down, turned off the light again - the dream was repeated. After the third attempt, the captain no longer turned off the light. A few days later, during another night watch, he was again harassed by a mystical shaggy dog in his sleep.
It turned out that the same dream tormented during the watch and Major M., as well as the ensign, who sometimes sleeps in the same room. All three decided to spend the night in the same room. As soon as they turned off the light, all overcoats spontaneously fell from the hanger, and behind them the keys to the room fell to the floor from the table. The military, who did not understand anything, turned on the light several times and put things in order, but as soon as it went out, everything started all over again.
After the sixth attempt to fall asleep, the captain, for the sake of experiment, offered to move the furniture to the old places where it had stood until his order. And… everything stopped, including the dreaming with the dog.
Currently, the battalion leadership is deciding whether to open the floor in the "crazy" room or not. Some of the officers suggest that there may be the remains of a secretly buried dog under the floor. Maybe even the one that a few years ago strangely disappeared from the battalion commander …

Journalists of the Irkutsk edition of SM Number One heard a similar story during a business trip to the border guard detachment located in Kyakhta. Svetlana Ivanovna, an employee of the local post office, told them about the strange things that followed her at work and at home. In the old buildings of the Cossack-merchant city, which has passed its century-old milestone, and in which army barracks and officers' houses (DOS) are now located, the silence is broken by otherworldly forces.
Svetlana Ivanovna has been living alone since the mid-seventies in a small apartment in the officers' house. Her husband died tragically.
“When I moved into the apartment,” Svetlana Ivanovna recalls, “the neighbors were interested in whether everything was fine with me. Because the previous tenants - a young officer's family - told them more than once about strange visions in their apartment."
At first, Svetlana Ivanovna did not pay special attention to such questions, but over time she really began to feel not very pleasant things. In the middle of the night, someone in the apartment starts talking, footsteps and other horror are heard. At work, where the building is also more than a century old, unpleasant encounters with dark forces also continue.
“You sit alone in a room, and it happens that steps are heard,” says Svetlana Ivanovna. - The constant feeling that someone is nearby. Even the door has to be opened so that it is not so scary."
Unpleasant nocturnal encounters with evil spirits occur quite often. As the woman says, somehow in the middle of the night she woke up from some kind of shock. She got up, turned on the light - like no one. She lay down again and still felt that someone was talking, moving.
“Speaking about the possible reasons for these stories, Svetlana Ivanovna points to the events of almost a century ago. During the civil war, the notorious Baron Ungern walked through these places. On the outskirts of Kyakhta there is a place where his soldiers shot and hacked to death with sabers more than one and a half thousand Red Army soldiers. The warring parties then lived in the so-called red and white barracks, some of which now house army headquarters, barracks and DOS. Who knows if their murdered souls harass the military and their families at night?"
The evil spirit of the guardhouse
And this incident happened back in Soviet times. Then, several people at once became eyewitnesses of scary phantoms that paralyzed an entire special-purpose brigade in Crimea.
It all started with the duty of a Moldovan soldier. He went in to guard warehouses with fuels and lubricants, ammunition and other property, but did not walk around the perimeter, as expected. I found a place out of sight and indulged in demobilization dreams. Out of boredom, he twisted a pocket watch on a chain around his finger. Twisted, twisted and, suddenly, the clock stopped, reaching the top point of rotation!
The soldier watched in horror at the strange sight: an outstretched hand, a chain on his finger, standing vertically upward, and a massive watch case, hanging as if in zero gravity. In fright, he jumped up, the clock fell, but a truly devilish laugh rang out nearby. With fright, the soldier pulled the trigger, forgetting to distort the bolt. The machine gun nevertheless started firing - until the magazine was empty.
The guard raised by alarm did not find anyone. The soldier was sent to the medical unit and, just in case, the posts were strengthened.
Since then, an orgy began in all warehouses, called by scientists a poltergeist. Sealed doors opened, fuel spilled from tanks. At the property warehouse, uniforms were torn, things were scattered throughout the room. The worst thing is that ugliness began at the ammunition depot: grenades were scattered, explosives were inserted where it was not necessary at all, very secret seals were broken.
"Some were on my ears," but they could not catch the intruder. And the desperate commander decided to invite a psychic. I found a rather respectable person, he walked around the territory and said that he saw him. " He added that he would lead the evil forces out of the unit with the help of two strong officers."
The psychic went with them to the warehouse and ordered: come to the point to which I indicate, grop your hands, as soon as you find something, grab and hold tight. No sooner had the tough guys come to the indicated point, they howled in pain - bruises clearly appeared on their hands, as if someone had clenched their hands with terrible force.
The part nevertheless got rid of the bastard, but the officers who caught him with the help of the psychic's instructions wore bruises on their bodies for a long time, obtained in a fight with an otherworldly spirit.
Even more terrible events are taking place today on the territory of a former military town in Lviv, in an old, Austrian-built, military headquarters building, in one of the rooms of which, where the guardhouse used to be, lives the family of retired Colonel Sergei Shatilov.
“Sergei came to Ukraine in the early 90s from Moscow after studying at the Military Academy. Temporarily he was offered to live in the empty room of this service guardhouse. " There was nowhere to go, since then he lives here with his family."
The Shatilovs first saw the ghost several years ago. “It usually appears at the full moon, but it happens at other times as well,” says Sergey. - At first, the reflections seem to illuminate the cobwebs and vents, then doors slam, although there are no drafts. On the wall of the toilet, almost under the ceiling, appears something like a light large oval, in which then a black figure slowly appears from the depths and begins to mutter something indistinctly, clearly addressing you. Honestly, a sight so creepy that the hair stands on end. Such fear covers!
“At first we jumped out in horror into the corridor, then ran into the room, lit a candle in front of the icon. The echo could be heard carrying the howls through the house. But the ghost does not go beyond his residence. It seems to me that our guest is a military man. The contours of an old uniform (most likely Austrian), a uniform cap are visible, something like a saber hangs from the side. Sometimes it seems to me that he demands something from us, and sometimes he shouts out words in German. I remembered a few words, and my friends, military translators, translated to me: "Go away!"
“According to legend,” adds Olga, Sergei’s wife, “in Austrian times, a military man fell in love with a beautiful girl and once arranged to meet her during his guard duty. But in the dark he did not recognize her and accidentally shot her. The soldier then hanged himself right in the guardroom. Perhaps it is his soul that still cannot calm down?"
Journalists from the Ukrainian newspaper Fakty, investigating the terrible phenomenon in the Shatilovs' dwelling, decided to personally get acquainted with the evil spirit of the former guardhouse. One night, at exactly twelve o'clock, they went out into the corridor and, trying not to make noise, went to the toilet door. They flung open the door and … under the high ceiling they saw a large light oval! In its center, a dark spot was gradually moving, similar in contours to a human figure. A chill blew, and there was a dull murmur in the air. However, the researchers were not at a loss and snapped cameras. The ghost, apparently frightened by the outbreaks, immediately evaporated …
The electricity bill must be paid by the UFO
In addition to anomalous phenomena of purely "terrestrial" origin and character, the military often record cases of the manifestation of the so-called extraterrestrial intelligence.
At 22:35, the paramedic of the medical center of the unit stationed in the Primorsky Territory, Chief Petty Officer Vladimir M., being in the dressing room, saw through the window a luminous ball 50-60 centimeters in diameter, milky white with violet-blue prominences.
Moiseyev called two sailors who were nearby, and for 3-4 minutes they watched the balloon floating in the air along the wall of the first-aid post. Then the ball increased its glow to the brightness of electric welding and slowly went up. The light immediately went out.
At the same time, the officer on duty was reported about the observed incomprehensible glow in the area of the medical center.
The officer on duty, Lieutenant-Commander Evgeny K. went out into the street and also observed this glow. The distance from the duty officer to the medical center is more than 700 meters, moreover, the medical center is not directly visible - the hill is in the way. Therefore, the duty officer and two other sailors saw a dome-shaped glow measuring 100 meters in diameter, purple-pinkish. After 3-4 minutes this dome seemed to come off the ground, the color began to shimmer and fade. At the same time, the lights went out in the entire unit. At that moment, two more sailors were walking along the road to the unit and also saw a domed glow in the area of the first-aid post.
Seeing the light went out in the unit, the electrician ran to the emergency diesel generator and tried to start it, but he failed.
Then a physical trail left by a UFO was discovered. Above the cable supplying electricity to the first-aid post and buried 1.5 meters in the ground, a funnel formed about 20 centimeters in diameter to the cable itself. However, the selected land could not be found.
The cores of the cable were melted. This is despite the fact that the consumption of electricity at the first-aid post at that time was minimal - only emergency lighting.
The duty officer described these events in the journal, especially noting both the anomalousness of the incident and the observed glowing dome in the area of the guarded special object. At the end of the month, when the utility billed a portion of its electricity, it was discovered that that month its consumption was four times higher than usual! The bill had to be paid, and the command could only be indignant at the fact that the UFO could not find another place to "refuel" with energy.
A similar case occurred in the city of Sarov (formerly Arzamas-16). Over the territory of one of the factories, according to eyewitnesses, a dazzling ball hovered. At 22:40 in the guardroom the sentry's bell rang out: "A luminous ball is flying to distant sites." After a short pause, Private Sergei Tereshchenko only managed to exclaim: "Oh, it's moving towards me!" Then a strong crack was heard in the telephone receiver, and the connection was interrupted.
Immediately on alarm, a group of experienced guards rushed to the place of emergency. They found Tereshchenko at his post - alive, but in a state of shock. The sentry repeated in a daze that he had seen “this”, seen “how it flew towards him,” and remembered nothing else.
Inspection of the scene showed that you can't get away with jokes. A strange triangular indentation was found on the sentry's body armor. Who (or what) attacked the guards of the secret factory?

Traces of cuts or soot, which could indicate that the private himself set fire to the bulletproof vest, bored in the guard, were not found. There are enough similar emergency situations at military facilities. These phenomena can be called differently. It is difficult to deny their presence.
