Vigilant hunters for unusual phenomena constantly find artifacts in photographs from the Red Planet that exceed the most daring expectations. This time it's a dinosaur fossil (see video below).

The blogger, registered on YouTube under the name UFOvni2012, believes that the footprints on the Martian rock are similar to the fossil remains of Archeopteryx, a prehistoric bird that lived in the Jurassic period about 150 million years ago.

In a photograph taken by the Curiosity rover at the foot of Mount Aeolis, which is the central peak of Gale Crater, the blogger saw a long neck and thin tail on a piece of rock.

"The drawing on the stone resembles an Archeopteryx fossil with a long, curved neck and a thin, curved tail," the blogger wrote in the comments to his video.

The "Martian dinosaur" is indeed very similar to the fossil of an ancient terrestrial bird, the image of which the blogger found on the website of Sonoma State University, California.
